Great Location
Great price
Great little hotel for a couple of nights. I would stay again
Good stay. No issues
Very walkable to the night markets very quiet friendly staff a really good stay
Nice budget hotel, very near night bazaar. Though unfortunately there is no lift, thus can be a challenge with heavy luggage for a room on the second level.
The room is comfortable. Water power is strong. Location is good. The fridge is too small. Traffic noise can be heard but in acceptable level.
We had a nice quiet room in a separate outside building. Very clean and comfy and close to everything. We walked everywhere! Breakfast is always fresh and delicious and the staff is amazing and kind! Wonderful 5 night stay!
Location near Night Bazar. Nice decorated, clean room. We had to use the Late Check-In - there was no problem at all.
Our room was in the front to the street. A negative point was, the is was quite loud, not only because of the traffic, also because of the loud talking staff which prepared the breakfast buffet.
Nice clean quiet room and otel
Very helpful receptionist Pat who spoke good English
Good buffet breakfast on terrace next door, tho bust rd so sit at back
Very nice furniture and super modern bathroom
Very good soap towels and very good hot shwer
I will be back in August
Ok stay. Just to sleep.
Overall at its price, LiLu is relatively a visitor-friendly hotel. There is a 7-11 store on its right and along SriDonchai is a stretch of massage parlors ( the one next to its restaurant on its left is the best), tour companies (go to Sri Lanna Tours for reasonable tour prices/bike rentals/laundry, just a slight walk towards Anantara Resort) etc. The nightly Night Bazaar is just a 5mins walk away. Staffs are friendly although they aren't fluent in English. Buffet breakfast is simple, substantial and very cleanly prepared. Room isn't big but it's ok for 2. WIFI is fairly alright too. What you see in the photos is almost what you get.
I was surprised on check that this accommodation is rather guest houses that a hotel. There is no lobby here. Check in is at a little table to the side of the entrance to what I think is a massage/beauty extension of the building.
My room was extremely small, I am quite sceptical that it would measure 20sq meter as stated on the description. One side of the bed was pushed up against the wall as there was simply not enough space for it to sit in the centre of the room, so if you have a partner with you, you will have to climb over each other to get in/out of bed.
There is no view outside of the window. and if you are a smoker you will have to walk to outside by the road to smoke as there are no balcony's or areas near the guest houses designated for smoking.
The room was very clean and the bathroom was good too, it appears to be reasonably new. The lady who checked me in was friendly too.
Overall I felt a little uncomfortable in such a small room, I also expected this to be more hotel style accommodation. But the location is good. If you are looking for a clean place and dont mind the size, then this can be okay for you. If you prefer a larger room and a hotel vibe then maybe not.
Superior Room included for Buffet Breakfast was show @ booking confirmation ,But !!! Is not get "Buffet Breakfast" when we are stay in there ! So SAD....
The staff was efficient. The room was nice and I have no complaints about the condition or offerings in the room. The AC worked good, the bed was comfortable, everything clean, the shower did not get water all over the floor, which is good. Overall, I would stay here again
Saying that, these are three things you need to know before staying here: 1) The internet is slow. While other hotels offer fast 50mbps internet this hotel offers unreliable 1mbps internet. Big negative in the modern age. Spend the extra $10 a month to upgrade the internet speed
2) The location is really not that good. It is about a 15-20 walk to the real good restaurants and commercial area of the city. It is about an 8 minute walk to the night bazaar, but the bazaar is just a bunch of coffee mugs and cheap t-shirts with funny words on it. No need to stay close to that IMO.
3) The biggest issue and why I changed hotels is that there is a chance you will be in an outside hotel room (I was). This is great for some people who want to feel like they have their own place and are not in a hotel, but for me this made me feel insecure. A previous guest could copy the key which is just a standard metal key and come into my room when I am not there. There is no cameras or secure entry or people they need to pass by, so it would really be low-risk for them. As a result, everytime I left my hotel room I felt like my belongings were at risk. There is a safe box in the room though for your most valuable things
V. nice hotel, small but clean and good location near the night market
We really enjoyed our stay. REALLY Comfortable bed - strong wifi, strong air conditioning, nice showers with good pressure, free cold bottled water whenever we needed, and a nicely decorated room with shelving for our things. Very new and clean. The staff was nice and helpful. The location is good with a great massage place (Manee Deva) on one side and a great tour operator(Sunny's) on the other and many good restaurants nearby as well as 7/11 right next door. Close to night market and old town gate.
Only complaint is breakfast - just skip it. I hate to say it because we liked the place so much, but this just didn't work for us. There are plenty of good and cheap places nearby.
If you're a soft sleeper you might need earplugs. It's on a main road and depending on the other guests, it can get a little noisy but it didn't bother us. Also, there is no bar/lounge and we did not have a refrigerator as advertised but none of this mattered to us at all.
We were supposed to stay 3 days and ended up staying 6! It'sounds really great for the price. We would definitely recommend and stay again!
Every thing is OK . one of the room I stay at first night was not cool. Poorly maintain air conditioner. I request for change room n the stay said can't change. N being very rude to customer.
Being a SOLO traveler - I was happy to stay at this Property - very convenient to move around the city - very close to Night market - lots of shops around (family mart - 7/11 - Massage parlors etc) - Room being small But enough for a SOLO travel - has all amenities - Happy experience in all - would like to stay again at this property in case I visit Chiang Mai.
