Hotel con encanto y excelente desayuno
Pros:

Es un hotel muy confortable. Las instalaciones son bonitas y modernas. El hotel cuenta con dos jacuzzis y saunas de uso para sus huespedes. El desayuno es muy bueno, el personal amable. Estando en el jacuzzi logramos ver las auroras boreales , lo cual fue mágico!! Sin duda volvería.

Disappointing
Pros:

We were really looking forward to our stay here having been recommended by friends who stayed a couple of years ago. Sadly however, this stay hasn’t been great. I had messaged the hotel about a month before we arrived because I ways planning to propose and had asked if the hotel could arrange some chocolates and champagne etc for the room. They never got back to me so I asked when I arrived, which was hard as I I needed to do it in secret. They thought at first I wanted it for free and seemed quite put out, I said I’m happy to pay etc just couldn’t sort it myself. After the proposal I asked for the drink to be dropped off. After that, there was no congratulations from any of the staff or even a message on the bed etc. The facilities were also past their best, with the two hot tubs not being up to temperature all week and the saunas also being cold unless you huddled around the heater. The breakfast was sub par, there were items missing after 0900 never to be replaced so unless you got there very early, hard if you’re up chasing the aurora most of the night. You had to make do cold with odds and ends. All in all a really disappointing stay.

Really nice place to stay
Pros:

Really nice place but not as isolated as expected so limited dark sky experience. A good location for exploring the southern area without going to far from Reykjavik.

Excellent rooms, bar and social spaces, plus a good quality restaurant.
Was there primarily for the aurora experience which was good on both nights of the stay and the telephone warning system worked well.

Brilliant, would 100% stay again!
Pros:

Everything really. It was lovely from the entrance to the apartments.

Cons:

Hot tubs could have been warmer, plus a handle change in the sauna/steam room as it was metal inside

Decent Stay for Tourists
Pros:

Good location to stay and be able to move around to the tourist sights in both directions. Breakfast had a good choice of foods. The hotel rooms were spacious and great comfortable mattresses. There was a lounge area that had windows surrounding for views and relaxation.

Cons:

Shower was small and door easily let the water out onto the bathroom floors.
