I didn't like that they told me I had to pay taxes when I was checking in. The total amount was supposed to include them already.

Great room, service and location, great breakfast, only average dinner.
Pros:

We had spacious room, large (king?) bed, great view of river, excellent location 5mns from bus and train stations. Romualdo did a great job getting us in an hour before the usual checkin, providing an internet code as we waited, and held our bags the day we checked out so we didn’t have to carry them to visit Machu Picchu. Breakfast buffet was excellent, good choices for hot and cold including fresh fruit. We tried a lunch in the dining room but it wasn’t up to the same standard as the breakfast; there are lots of other food choices for meals in the village.
