Geur uit de badkamer. Airco werkte niet. Erg warm op de kamer. En last gehad van bedbugs!

The room did not correspond to the pictures shown at the time of booking. The bed was wedged in the room, which was too small to fit it.

The elevator was out of order, with a sign saying that the day after it would have been working again, but instead it was still out of order also the day after.

The hotel is rather noisy, with cars passing by in the front road and the old windows do not provide enough sound protection.

A little tired around some edges

La struttura è fatiscente.
Sporca all’inverosimile.
Abbiamo alloggiato al 4º piano senza ascensore perché era guasto. E nessuno aveva provveduto ad avvisarci. Dico solo che abbiamo lasciato il soggiorno preventivamente pagato per rifugiarci in una struttura che fosse all’altezza delle nostre aspettative. Stiamo provvedendo a richiedere il rimborso per la spesa aggiuntiva che abbiamo dovuto sostenere. Il personale sgarbato e poco professionale non ha aiutato in nessun modo schermando totalmente le nostre richieste chiudendoci il citofono in faccia più volte nonostante il nostro tentativo di richiedere assistenza in varie lingue (inglese, rumeno, spagnolo, russo, italiano)
Non lo consiglierei al mio peggior nemico.

The room was dirty, dusty, very poorly maintained, broken shower head and broken hair dryer.
I booked a small room with canal view and when I checked in I have noticed they gave me a basement room. I texted them and they said they had no any other available room while booking.com still shows that they have several available rooms. If they assign another very low category room to me, they need to call and ask my permission first. Just a waste of time and money.

The seating in the room was stained, the sink didn't drain well, and the room looked nothing like the pictures on the website.

da wir die treppen in den Amsterdamer unterkünften kennen, war die angabe dass ein lift vorhanden ist, ein wichtiger punkt unserer buchungsentscheidung. leider war der lift defekt und wurde auch in den Tagen nicht repariert, was für den koffertransport eine große herausforderung war.

lift was out of action for our whole stay (even though was told it would be fixed next day!! - (was just lip service) - 4th floor ridiculously steep and dangerous with luggage as very shallow steps, we also got locked out of building on last night from our door that gets wedged open by a door stop (security risk on its own as anyone could access the top floors from the street). The help phone number was out of action! - person on end of intercom seemed incompetent as after 15-20 minutes still couldn't open the correct door for us to get in and only after telling us she couldn't help and we were to be locked out all night, I asked her to get a manager to contact us and magically appeared from within the building in 2 minutes! why she didn't do this in the first few minutes is beyond me! stressing us all out for no reason.
Didn't want to go outside unless planned out the whole day as the trek up the stairs was too much (suit more fit teenagers or athletic people)

Little tip. Bedside cabinets with drawers would have been good either side of the bed. as nowhere to really store your belongings.
Also the coffee maker was hard to operate based in the wardrobe. Would have been better if on the desk/table.

Other people were smoking inside - cigarettes and weed and I couldn’t sleep at all due to my room stinking
