We've just come back and have to say we had a brilliant time! This was mainly due to Hassan, there wasn't anything he wouldn't help you with!!
The rooms were clean and tidy, food was good but the speciality Indian restaurant was brilliant although could do with slowing down their service so you're not rushed. Bars were great as we're all the staff we met!
Superb stay. Beautiful grounds, lovely pools especially adults only that was heated. Staff can’t do enough for you and love a celebration. We were there over Christmas and a birthday and they made a real fuss. Food was good and plenty to do. Rooms were really big and very comfortable and everything very clean. Highly recommend
Once again we left cold and icy Glasgow and headed towards our hotel .
When we arrived we were met by Mr Hassan who said he had received our e-mail about getting the same room. ( deluxe club room 5057). Which the hotel had done for us. He warmly welcomed us and said it was nice to see us again.
On our arrival they informed us that they still do a late dinner service.
Our room was as expected immaculate . And some nice fruit. ( we are 2nd timers there)
The next day round the pool there were plenty sunbeds .
The pool bar is run by Mansour and David who will regularly ensure you have a top up off soft, alcoholic and coffee and teas.Always with a smile
In the main restaurant we were met by Mohammed who is a 1st class waiter and saw to all our needs with smile . great guy he waits at the 18+ section of the dinning room.
The food on display is amazing . There is ALWAYS something to eat. They also have 3 international restaurants ( Indian Mexican and Italian ) which must be booked in advance and can be done after you download the QR code. If in doubt Mr Mohammed Ali (Food & Beverage manager will sort it out). His staff are a great credit to him.
I personally am not a beach person but the people I talked to loved it. There is also a lovely little bar near it that belongs to the hotel. If you fancy an ice cream and coffee that's the place to be .It also does drinks .
Our housekeeper Mohammed was excellent and kept our room brilliantly and made lots of towel animals .
My friend Saad at the top bar was polite and very efficient in the service he provided.
The Spa you see Ali he will give you what you want and will never over sell and all at a price that fits, My wife used the services provided by Ali on a couple of occasions and would highly recommend Ali .
Mr Emad was another great guy he walks around and if he can help he will.
We highly recommend this hotel. It has a new captain at the wheel and already we noticed the changes . We have already booked to come back.
We have just returned from a perfect stay here, we cannot fault any of it and will definitely return. I have been to many hotels but the thing that stood out for us was the exceedingly high customer service standards from all staff members who went out of their way to make sure that we had the best time.
Special mention to Emad who looked after our room, nothing was too much trouble and it was always nice to have a quick chat with him as well and he made us feel very at home whilst away.
Looking forward to staying here again.
We had a wonderful experience in this hotel. We have no complaints. Everything was more than good. Many thanks to the staff who met all our expectations and especially to the head bartender Mohammed .
Tropitel, the sweetest hotel. 🩵
The place where I have celebrated my birthday for the past 3 years. 🎂🎉
Tropitel, the place where we always feel at home. 🥰
Tropitel, the place we have visited 6 times and would always return to—the place where we found wonderful people who became our friends.
Thank you, Ahmed Abu Elnasr, for always taking care that we have a beautiful room every time. 🌞🌴🌊🏝
Thank you, Chef Montaser, Chef Ahmed Aladly, Goda Hassan (Italian Restaurant) and Mohamed Sami Gomaa, for everything you have done and continue to do for us every single time. 👨🍳👨🍳
Thank you to the General Manager, Mr. Osama Mostafa, and the Front Office Manager, Hassan, for the warmth with which we were welcomed.
We have always enjoyed impeccable services, daily room cleaning, and special attention to make our vacation unforgettable.
We wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful hotel, which has become our second home. 🙏
The hotel staff deserves a perfect 10.
We can’t wait to come back. ❤️🇪🇬
Great food, nice people, great size room, nice and clean, very close to the beach. Quite hotel, great atmosphere.
Excellent hotel, good personnel, awesome guests and so on. Staff is really friendly and awesome. Rooms are good and clean. Shows are good!
We are having a great stay at Tropitel Sahl Hasheesh. The hotel is clean, spacious, and in a beautiful beachfront location. The rooms were comfortable, and the whole resort felt relaxed and well looked after. Staff were friendly and always happy to help, which made a big difference.
The food had a good variety, the pools were lovely, and the beach area was perfect for chilling out. Overall, a really enjoyable stay with a nice atmosphere — we’d happily come back.
Our trip to hurghada for Christmas and New Year 2025. Myself, my wife and our 24 year old daughter.
We opted for a private transfer from the airport which I would recommend. Can't remember but I think about £15 each way for three people, a lot quicker than tour operator busses that take much longer as they drop other holiday makers to their hotels.
First impressions of the hotel was wow with all of the Christmas lights outside and immaculate gardens.
A large foyer with a massive decorated Christmas tree. Check in was quick, we were asked to be seated with a drink while someone checked us in.
Bedroom was large with a large balcony. Im more a bath person than a shower so good to see one. The bath also had an overhead shower but also a separate shower cubicle in the bathroom.
Next morning we noticed gardens within the hotel were stunning. All of the toilets around the hotel were spotlessly clean, it was good to see cleaners so proudly attentive around their areas.
Main indoor bar. Staff were lovely, they made sure we had a good place to sit together and they each remembered our drinks. Never had to wait long, the reception area was waiter service.
Restaurants. People rave bout the restaurants. I enjoyed the Mexican but my favourite was the Turkish. I also enjoyed the food in the main restaurant. We first went to the Turkish restaurant during one of the party nights with entertainment, this was the fee paying one but we didn't mind because it was inexpensive and something different. My wife enjoyed lobster. We also went back a couple of more times and they made an Al a carte menu in the balcony. This gave you access to the sky bar where the Liverpool game was on the TV. Two blokes come around the beach or pool to see if you want to attend, a guy called Haitham was lovely when you get to know him, we remained friends.
British people are generally open and talkative so it was nice to speak to the staff. We even made friends with the main Security guard at the beach and used to take him little packets of the love heart sweets thay you get from the UK. Nice to see the hotel manager walking the grounds and introducing himself to the guests.
Outside you could freely go out and travel a few miles. We rented one of the electric buggies and my daughter drove us to the other side of the resort which was a couple of miles. It was very safe. My wife purchased menthol cigarettes there for just I've £2 pack. There is a strip of shops about a minutes walk away from our hotel where it's possible to purchase the main international branded alcohol. My wife also purchased camel milk skin moisturiser.
We did have a small issue with our room with something, but a big shout out to Mary the guest relations who quickly resolved things for us and went over and above. She could be seen daily going around the guests which was a nice personal touch. One of the main reasons the hotel has such a high TripAdvisor score was down to people like Mary. We also became friends and can't wait to go back to see her.
The sea is shallow and can be rocky so beach shoes needed. A must is the scuba diving. I normally don't like swimming in the sea, but there's a pier with two places where you could lower yourself to the water. The staff were great and one came and took us off the end of the pier with us. It was very safe and not very deep. We all took full face snorkeling masks from the UK which cost us about £10 including delivery. Colours of the fish were amazing.
Pools look lovely but we never once swam in them because we much preferred the beach. Big shout out to Mohammed who remembered your usual spec and happily made your beds up for us. Then there's our favourite outside bar man Melad at the beach, it was waiter service at the beach and Melad remembered and made sure we were well stocked up with our favourite drinks.
We were first reluctant to go away for Christmas and New year, not quite the traditional nativity scene with a cocktail on the beach Christmas day with a Santa hat on😂, loved it. We have always done a traditional family thing at home. But from what we experienced we can't wait to return. Weather was really warm, it seemed around 25 degrees each day and perfect.
Christmas eve and New Years eve Gala was awesome. Everyone was dressed up and entertainment was great. Food was great, my wife was having caviar, salmon and other things.
Another highlight of our journey was the valley of the kings in Luxor. Well worth the money. I think we each paid £50 to our holiday company rep, but don't bother as we never saw him again. Just book the same journey with a local company for a lot less. It's very safe.
Spirits, we have tried other Egyptian hotels where the spirits were undrinkable, they aren't international brands but I have to say the spirits at out hotel was good for Egypt. Beer was quite nice too.
Main restaurant food. Lots of choices. I loved the freshly made omelettes each morning also freshly made pasta and the chef will let you choose your ingredients. Never once had an upset stomach a d never saw a mosquito this time of year.
Tipping, no obligation to tip but they were very well appreciated. We tipped our room service every second day, we also left a small of the mini love hearts on the pillow together with the tip. I especially liked quietly tipping the cleaners as the place was spotless. The staff make this hotel what it is. Egyptian people are understandingly proud of Mo Salah and I had taken some Liverpool shirts, some I didnt wear much and gave a few away to our favourite staff. I would say most British people are generous. I enjoyed blessing the incredibly hard working staff for making our holiday what it was. Especially as Egyptian salaries are low compared to European.
On return beware of the prices at hurghada airport. We paid 60 us dollars (about £55) for three kfc meals. Next time we will stick to taking a couple of sandwiches for the journey from the hotel buffet. 50g Amberleaf was about £9. Customs and airport staff were friendly and were polite and smiled. Very unlike the grumpy ones you find in Turkish airports.
We stayed in the new hotel serenity Sky Arc hotel a few months earlier, this was located just across the bay which and was lovely. We did make some friends with Mr Mogib the manager and some of the staff there, however all in all, two top hotels but to me tropitel just came out top.
In the past we as a family have holidayed to Turkey, but would now much prefer Egypt. Generally we found most of the Egyptian people warm hearted. Sad to leave them but as looking to return. We also made lovely British friends and we're all looking to return again Christmas 2026 or earlier if we can.
#feelingblessed ❤️🇪🇬😎
Our stay at Tropitel Hotel was truly wonderful. We spent an amazing week there, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The entire staff was extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile.
The restaurants offer a wide variety of choices, all of excellent quality, and most importantly, everything is impeccably clean. The hotel maintains very high cleanliness standards; the staff is constantly cleaning all areas, every day, ensuring a spotless environment throughout the property.
We will definitely return in the near future.
Special thanks to Hassan for his outstanding support and hospitality. We hope to see you again soon!
Kind regards,
Carla and my family
Fabulous holiday and a beautiful hotel. We’ve been to this hotel a handful of times now, and it never disappoints. A special mention to Hassan for his amazing service and help — we really appreciate it. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
We stayed for Christmas and new year
Beautiful accommodation and extremely well maintained
Staff couldn’t do enough for you and it’s our first time in Egypt where staff weren’t looking for tips
When you did tip they put it in the tip box
People who were selling massages /trips as soon as you said no they left you alone
Swimming /snorkelling from the jetty the fish were amazing.you were also provided with life jackets
The beach was immaculate and beds well spaced out…always beds available
The main pool was heated and one of the warmest pools we’ve ever used
The only downside was the entertainment …which we never actually saw due to it being located in the mermaid bar which was like walking into an ashtray ….and we are smokers🤦♀️
The work that went into the Xmas Eve and new year buffet was fantastic and food was lovely
Recommend hiring the golf buggy into sahl hasheesh
Thanks to yasir who cleaned our room 3082….always had a smile on his face
Rooms were big,bed was huge
Shower always had instant hot water
If you like a quiet and relaxing holiday would recommend this hotel
It was 40min in a taxi from the airport to hotel so our tip would be to do this rather than the package holiday transfer
Amazing hotel made exceptional by the wonderful staff! The hotel has everything you need for all inclusive, it has spacious rooms, good food, plenty of bars and drink options, pool area is huge and heated for the main part. Plenty to do for children with kids clubs and activities including slides. Private beach with walk way into sea for snorkelling. The animation team provide good entertainment all day and night long, Ferrari is a legend! The staff are what make this an 5 star hotel stay! All very attentive and can’t do enough for you. Huge shout outs to both Mohammed’s (pool bar and restaurant), Ahmed (on the snack bar), Ayeman (restaurant) and the main man Ashraf! Made our trip! Would recommend!
We stayed at this hotel from 26th December to 4th January. It was warm enough (22-24 degrees), the beach is a mixture of sand, shale and shells. There is a pier out to the sea that enables you to get in the sea observe fish at the reef. We saw a ray and other colourful fish.
The hotel itself is great, there is a spa if that’s your thing. The rooms are big, the beds are ok, not as comfortable as I’m used to but then again I was there for warmth and not my bed. There are multiple bars and restaurants to go to. The normal restaurants did great food, always plenty of choice and always fresh. The speciality restaurants were also very good ( the mutton dish in the Indian restaurant was my pick of the meals we had) there is a Mexican and an Italian also. Plenty of entertainment at hand for most tastes.
We went for New Year’s party and it was fantastic, albeit feeling a little haphazard in its management and information given to the guests, it did not detract from the night. Even in winter, it was pretty full and the lobby bar was always full( nowhere to sit) so we spent most of our nights in the mermaid bar.
Overall we were impressed with this hotel and would definitely recommend it.
I was truly honored to stay at Tropitel Sahl Hasheesh
during a business event.
Special sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr. Zaki , front office manager for his outstanding organization
Special thanks as well to the entire team for the wonderful experience,
especially for hosting our stay,
A great experience that truly proves that real success starts with valuing partners and building long-term relationships.
With my best wishes for continued success.

Is no more the Tropitel I saw two years ago. This was the third time I stayed in, the first two times was just lively, this time was bad. Starting with the room, we payed for a deluxe garden view, we got a construction site and the wall for another building. The room was the most for a two star hotel not five.
23rd december- 2nd January stay. From arrival till departure(not yet, going tomorrow tonight) was absolutely amazing.from warm welcome at security and then greeted at the reception till every single member of staff was absolutely amazing ! Great service in all restaurant's, Mexican was spot on! Lifeguards, lads at the pool bars.a massive thank to Ali our chap who cleaned our room daily, great guy!!! Even got a birthday cake without asking or saying is my birthday. We'll done guys and I will see u in October for another jolly:)
Only bad thing i can say about is the shopping center especially the pharmacy, tried without success obviously to charge us 25 euros for something that in UK it costs 1.5 at boots.i am and I will recommend this establishment from the bottom of our hearts...THANK YOU ALL !!!
Lovely hotel. All the staff are very attentive and keep checking to make sure your stay is good. The weather was stunning for 7 days we were there, bit windy at times but could not fault it for a December break and after all it is Egypts winter.
The room was upgraded to a pool view and was very large and spacious with lots of storage and hangers, the bathroom was huge. Our cleaner Abrahim was superb, kept checking on us and making sure we didn't need anything. He changed our pillows as they were a bit large, nothing was any trouble. The bed is a good size and firm, which suited us.
Saad in the lobby bar was amazing, remembered our drinks and looked after us throughout our stay. All staff were amazing but Saad just went above and beyond.
The entertainment team were lovely, were not pushy, asked if you wanted to join in and happily moved on to let us chill by the pool. There was one guy from the spa who didn't get the hint and still kept asking if we wanted a massage but overall the other staff didn't hassle us.
One thing to mention is that the Crazy Waves place to the side of the hotel, is not part of the hotel and the staff should not walk around the grounds trying to sell trips. Management are aware of this and yet it goes unmentioned until there is an issue. Avoid this company as they will definitely rip you off and book via TripAdvisor instead. Mr Bob definitely gave Egypt a bad name on our first day for trying to rob us by telling us the trip was euros and then charged us the equivalent in pounds, followed by the next day telling us some extra charges had been introduced and wanted another 20 euros on top. Definitely stay clear!
The guy (didn't get his name) who walked around offering drinks was brilliant too and often bought us water or coke zero without even asking.
We didn't try the snack bar, but the main buffet restaurant had lots of choice everyday for breakfast, lunch and evening meal. My only comment would be that the food was lukewarm, which considering we were always there when the restaurant opened was quite disappointing. I did see reviews before we went out about it but clearly nothing has been done. There wasn't a microwave either that you could warm it up. Actually one thing was piping hot and that was the boiled eggs! It would be nice if this was sorted but definitely didn't put us off visiting again.
The three ala carte restaurants included once each during your seven night stay were amazing. Our preference was the Indian and mexican. The mexican and Italian could also be visited everyday between 2-4pm. We definitely favoured the mexican. The Italian was lovely but the pizzas didn't have much toppings on or sauce, but that was personal preference and I would definitely still recommend it. It's nice to be waited on and have hot food.
One final thing to mention is on arrival it became apparent there were a lot of Egyptian men, rumours were there were 300-500. There were definitely a lot. Apparently they were there at a conference. I think the hotel should have made us aware of this on check in. Never visiting Egypt before and I felt a bit unsettled. The hotel did call twice to ensure everything was ok but assumed this was to do with the conference and the fact that opposite our room was some of these men. They left room doors open and were rather loud especially late at night. They left empty snack boxes on the floor instead of using bins, which was rather disrespectful to the hotel and its staff as they work so hard to maintain their standards. Overall I don't think they caused too many problems to the hotel and by Friday it was a different hotel with lots of families arriving.
In short, we would definitely return to this hotel. I think it's more of a 4 star than a 5 and if the comments about food being warmer were addressed it would definitely be a plus. Would definitely return and recommend, Egypt is certainly somewhere we would love to come back too.
We had a wonderful experience at Tropitel Sahl Hasheesh. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the beach was beautiful, and the food offered great variety and taste.
A special thanks to the General Manager, Mr. Osama Mostafa, for handling our group with outstanding professionalism and care. His leadership and hospitality truly made a difference.
Overall, a fantastic hotel with friendly staff and great service. Highly recommended, and we look forward to returning again!
