I would stay again but would hope that the new owners can refresh the whole hotel.
Pros:

Nice sized room with a lovely view. Breakfast was fine though a little chaotic on the first morning.

Cons:

The hotel is looking a little tired with obvious problems with leaking roofs in many parts. Though our room was nice it could have been cleaner especially the bathroom where the drain smelt.

Lovely spot,friendly staff.Hotel was very clean,rooms lovely

Cons:

Silks restaurant was poor.
Service was slow and the staff had no idea about gluten free despite being told that we needed gluten free dishes.They gave us the wrong information and then right at the last minute changed their minds and gave a very poor substitute

Very enjoyable, wonderful staff, magnificent location, will revisit after the planned remodeling.
Pros:

Great location, exceptional view of the bay. Breakfast was exceptional in terms of complete spread of breakfast foods, and service by the staff including Sue and her daughter Molly, among others...and the view from the breakfast room is unparalleled.

Cons:

As reported, we had a rather disturbing experience with neighboring rooms making noise at 2 am and then a rowdy awakening and shouting in the hall on several occasions.
