Hotel Daniel Vienna

A bit out of the way from the main city but within walking distance to tram network and took about 15mins to get there. Trams are regular. Purchased a vienna city card but no barriers, no inspections, walked on and off with no checks.
Room was basic. Not great. Sink was inside bedroom, separate toilet and shower. Had to request kettle but had coffee machine. No fridge. Very small double, no twins if ur travelling with a friend be prepared to get cosy.
Room was incredibly hot. Air con doesn't work just heat. Opened window to cool down but a bit dodgy to leave open all night on floor 1.
Very noisy hotel outside right by a main road with lots of activity outside from traffic, emergency services, bin collection and bell ringing what felt like super early in the morning.
Have to request housekeeping and even though we did, didn't get it. Not sure if it was a weekend thing
A small restaurant, pleasant but limited menu. Decent price drinks.

The bathroom situation is AWFUL!! A literal water closet. Then you step back into the room. The next door is a shower closet. Then step back into room. Sink is al fresco. This setup is so unsettling.
Also, the hearing/cooling controls are in very small print. The thermostat only controls cooling. Then very small it says in winter, use radiator controls for heat, which are behind the desk, difficult to find and access. We checked into the room and it was 22c. In the morning, despite opening two windows, it was still 20c.

Disappointing stay. Panorama room was a view of a cement wall and AC unit. Self check in completed prior to arrival but still took 15 minutes to get room key. Parking garage is a nightmare if you drive anything bigger than a Fiat. Staff very kind, helpful and friendly.

The staff were welcoming and helpful. Rooms on the front face a busy road and there are few shops nearby but it is close to the HBFand other transport. The Botanical Gardens which are lovely are a short walk away.

Conveniently situated within walking distance from the main railway station. Hard to describe the hotel decor, shabby chic being the nearest I think is appropriate. Unusual reception area furniture made from re-cycled pallets and an abundance of indoor greenery.

Bedrooms are adequate but showing signs of use and a need for refurbishment.

Excellent choices available for breakfast.

Hotel has both bike and Vespa hire for those confident enough to brave the roads in Vienna. We however found the tram and underground systems far easier to manage.

We had a great stay! Bar was nice and bartenders were friendly, room was clean and quiet. Definitely recommended!

Muy buen lugar para quedarse y muy conveniente ubicación. A solo 5 minutos caminando a Belvedere. Ademas puedes rentar ahi mismo una vespa que es muy conveniente para andar en la ciudad.

Convenient to train station. Staff was very helpful and should be commended. Air conditioning did not work well and room a little "worn".

Very good hotel perfectly located for public transport into the centre. Trams, trains, tube etc all within 5-10 minutes walk. Great bar area and rooms are clean and very comfortable

Very comfortable and clean. Comfy room with aircon which was essential as it was very hot during the visit. Next to Belvedere and 25 min walk to town. Happy to recommend.

Hotel Daniel is my new favourite hotel, it’s office block chic style is fabulous. Each room has aircon and a smart TV so we could watch Netflix. The rooms were stylish as was reception, we ate in the restaurant twice and the service and food were great.

A quirky hotel with a nice atmosphere on arrival. Rooms were very spacious and quiet overnight. Would recommend.

Front desk staff checked us in early so we could explore Vienna. Excellent location and fabulous room.
