Pros:

We found Daskalio after a couple cancelled ferries threw a wrench in our travel plans. Although it was not in our plans to stay there, we chose it because of the sea view and it far exceeded expectations! The rooms are simple but have everything you need, and the pictures of the view don’t do it justice. The area has many walkable beaches and a few taverns we found, as well as a good restaurant in the hotel itself.
What really stood out to us, however, was the incredibly kind staff. They accommodated our every need, and welcomed us back when our second ferry was cancelled. They cooked us great dinners and breakfasts, and offered plenty of water for the room.
Another highlight was our taxi driver the staff called for us, Kostas. Kostas really turned our bad moods around and he offered to take us on a tour of the town for a very small fee. He is a gem and I highly recommend using him for transportation.
Overall, we had a great experience at Daskalio Beach Hotel and I truly can’t recommend it enough! Thank you guys so much for everything.

Das Zimmer war sauber, sanitäre Einrichtung ist nicht mehr Standard. Service gut. Leute sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Speisenangebot begrenzt, aber sehr gut. Alle Wünsche wurden nach Möglichkeit berücksichtigt. Herrlicher Blick auf die Bucht. Toller Sonnenaufgang über dem Meer. Frühstück echt griechisch nach Wunsch. Es hat uns gut gefallen.

Si no esperas lujos, este es un excelente lugar para hospedarse. El hotel está un tanto anticuado, y las comodidades de la habitación son muy básicas, pero qué excelente atención hemos recibido! De las mejores por nuestro viajes alrededor de Grecias continental. No se pierdan la oportunidad de cenar allí y probar manjares típicos, cómodo y hermoso, desde donde pudimos apreciar Luna llena. También recomiendo para el días caminar por las cercanías del hotel y disfrutar una playa cercana de fácil y rápido acceso a pie. Hermoso entorno. Amplio estacionamiento. Hermoso el restaurante y vuelvo a decirlo: lo mejor de este hotel es la atención de su propietario y demás, sus vistas y entorno para caminar.

We enjoyed our time here. It was a longer driving time into Athens than we expected. That is obviously no fault of the property. It was quiet and peaceful.

"For those who only seek out new places, this might not be their first choice, but this older building, despite its age, was clean and offered a breathtaking view that simply entranced me. The staff were so genuinely kind. I had to rush out for an early breakfast because of my flight, and I was so grateful for their caring efforts to send me off with more. Being surrounded by such good people and that beautiful view truly felt like a healing escape. It was a wonderful memory."

Decent place with seaside location
Pros:

The staff takes care of you here. The place is not so up to date, but it's got character. The breakfast is fresh if fairly minimal. The dinner was like home cooking and surprisingly good. The dishes were different from what we had been having.
Restaurants nearby close early in off peak season. Taxi fare is €40 each way for the airport.

The setting is very nice. The rooms are very basic but comfortable enough. The food at the restaurant isn't good quality. The standard of service in hotel and restaurant is very poor, and the staff are unbelievably rude.
