The 36th edition of ATP tournament Plava laguna Croatia Open Umag will be held from 10 to 19 July 2026 in ATP stadium Goran Ivanišević in Stella Maris. Pros:

• Super Lage direkt am Meer und ruhig
• Das Restaurant hat einen sehr schönen Außenbereich.
• Das Personal war sehr nett.
• Parkplatz gleich nebenan
• Großer Balkon
• Barrierefreier Zugang
• unkompliziert
• Touristenzugstation gleich nebenan
• Glutenfreies Brot und Milchalternativen beim Frühstück
• Große Anlage mit vielen Pools. Es sind aber teilweise Ruinen mittendrin, die stark verfallen sind (Casino Solei, GH Adriatic)

Cons:

• Gebäck beim Frühstück war nicht frisch, total zäh - egal welches Gebäck man gewählt hat, es war alles alt. Der Toaster war bei allen Gästen heiß begehrt.
• kein Glutenfreies Gebäck oder Vegane Alternativen beim Abendessen. Ich konnte keine Desserts essen und hatte täglich die selben Gerichte zur Auswahl.
• Säfte beim Buffet schmecken rein chemisch.
• Sauberkeit im Bad: Wandoberflächen werden nicht gereinigt, Wasserhahn schimmelig.
• Auf der Terrasse wäre ein Dach vorteilhaft denn während die Gäste essen holen, räumen die Möwen den Tisch leer. Das ist echt schade weil der Außenbereich echt schön ist.
• keine E-Tankstelle.
• Was ich sehr komisch fand: rechts vorm Haupteingang vom Hotel Umag ist ein Lüfter nach draußen. Dieser bläst stinkenden Schwefel-Chlorgeruch nach außen. Wenn man am weg zum Frühstück, Abendessen ist, wirkt das nicht sehr einladend. Zudem der Lüfter mit einem Totenkopf-Symbol gekennzeichnet ist.
• die Sandstrände waren sehr beliebt und am ehesten überfüllt
- könnten erweitert werden.
