The bed was very comfortable. Nice to hot tub while overlooking the quaint river setting. The bathroom sink area was small but that was a minor inconvenience overall. The staff, restaurant and food was excellent.we felt pampered and recharged. Even caught a small display of the northern lights here.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was very friendly. It was nice to have a hot tub to soak in at the end of long days exploring too. The area was really in a neat location, and nights were nice and quiet. Food at the restaurant was very good. We had the lamb and the cod. It was also super nice to have a good breakfast ready for us in the mornings to get our day started.

Lovely unique hotel. Ideally located as a home base, to visit many sightseeing highlights. The hike up to the hot springs behind the hotel was wonderful. Would recommend to any friend. The breakfast buffet offered a nice selection, and the staff were amazing.

The landscape was beautiful with the sounds of the river right outside our room. It was fun taking a cold plunge in the river and the pool and hot tubs were great. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was wonderful.

Great location on the river with the steam vents in the background. Geothermal heated hot tubs were the best! Property could use some maintenance and updating, but this was a minor critique. Overall, great location and a nice pleasant stay. Enjoyed our diner and the breakfast was a pleasant experience.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Hot tubs were great. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The location worked well for our 3 day stopover / visit as it was more or less on the way to most of the destinations we had planned. We did enjoy the sauna, hot tub and pool at the end of a long day travelling about.

Love this small intimate hotel next to a warm river and geothermal fields.

This hotel is situated in such a beautiful area with natural hot springs all around. There’s a trail you can walk from directly next to the hotel which takes you to a lovely waterfall. You can go for a cold plunge into the river below after using the sauna. The hot tubs were lovely and relaxing with great views. Food was really good and the rooms were very comfy, would love to come back!

Our favorite place to stay in Iceland. It's a good "home base" for day travel and we love the atmosphere and breakfast.

This was an amazing, beautiful property. Fabulous customer service. We really enjoyed the amenities (i.e. hot tub, pool, sauna, relaxation room). Perfect location for exploring Iceland. Our only real complaint was that the internet did not work in our room at all.

We loved our stay we loved the hikes around the hotel and getting in the hot tub cooling off in the river . Breakfast was awesome, we would go back anytime.
