Unfortunately, there was nothing I particularly liked about my stay.
I was very disappointed with my stay. We expected one double bed, but instead we were given separate beds. The bathroom was very small and there was an unpleasant sewage smell. The room also had a terrible smell when we entered. Everything felt old and in need of renovation. To make matters worse, a few days after our stay an additional €10 was charged from my account without any clear explanation. Overall, the hotel did not meet my expectations at all.
The location of the hotel is at the heart of the city.
We were given a room with two single beds even though we have specifically requested a double bed. When asked to changed we were told this is not possible. Half of the lights in the room were not functional. The breakfast cost €12 per person and was from 07:00AM-10:00AM, when we arrived for breakfast at 07:40 the buffet was mainly empty only having herring and boiled sausages at the buffet. The coffee machine was old and dirty with no clean coffee cups available. The staff were nowhere to be found and had to wait 15minutes just to get a clean cup for the coffee, the breakfast buffet was not refilled until we had to depart the hotel at 08:15AM.

The renovation is very dated. The room is dirty, there are cobwebs, dust, and the carpet has an unpleasant odor. The reception hall has a strong smell of lemon Domestos; it feels cheap and awful.

I was planning to use the spa and the pool. I wasn't informed prior Arrival that it was under renovation.
Location and staff
Uncomfortable pillows and weak mattress awakened me several times. Woke up tired.
