Beautiful building; but teenage hostel vibes and rude staff
Pros:

The location was wonderful and the building was great. Easy to walk to near by beaches and shops and felt very safe. It was a lovely historical building full of history! Organized a shuttle for us at 3:30 am to which was great!

Cons:

We were dissapointed by two main things; The hotel was incredibly loud at night. I mean teenagers running up and down the hallways screaming and playing tag at 1am loud while the front desk attend was present. The price was high for us to feel like we were in a dollar hostel. Second, when we returned home from dinner the gate was locked (we were not given a key for this) and no one answered the door bell. We waited 5 plus minutes and called and texted around 8:30pm just to get in and then were met by a staff who seemed very annoyed with us. Staff were unhelpful and off-putting; we felt like a bother for just being in their space. They had offered us free coffee for in the morning (3:30 am shuttle time) and had no travel cups, then put it in a smoothie cup with no lid; just awkward and not thought out at all after a night of no sleep.

Super Unterkunft in Barranco
Pros:

Tolle Unterkunft in Barranco. Schöne Gemeinschaftsterrasse zum draussen sitzen und auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Alles super sauber und die Zimmer zum Schlafen sehr ruhig, was in Lima nicht selbstverständlich ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Pros:

This older charming property has so much potential . A beautiful welcoming garden and cool cafe atmosphere with lots of places to sit and read. It was nice sitting in the garden for breakfast which was always fresh and variations of bread, eggs and fruit . The staff were mostly helpful. Not completely warm and full of hospitality - perhaps they are just a little reserved . I got the feeling they didn't really like that we could only speak English. It was my birthday and the manager sweetly presented me with chocolate and a card which was very thoughtful and a lovely touch. Just a note about the floors - don't walk around with no shoes on . Perhaps they don't wash the floor only sweep it because my feet were dirty black when I walked around in the floorboards for just ten mins. There are plenty of good coffee and food options around the location - although on the Friday night the whole suburb erupted at 2.45am with chanting and revving and yelps. Either something was on or it's just a normal Friday night in barranco . I don't know

Localisation top, plein de restaurants aux alentours
Joli quartier
Bâtiment et terrasse très agréable
Personnel très agréable
J’ai pu laisser mon sac et rester dans les parties communes plusieurs heures après mon départ
Douches très propres et nombreuses avec eau chaude.
Petit déjeuner très sympa avec du choix.
Ils m’ont fait une lunch box car un matin je partais avant l’heure du petit déjeuner

Cons:

La chambre côté route est très bruyante.
Des boules quies m’ont suffit mais ce n’était pas le cas pour mon amie

Simple but cozy, great location and excellent value.
Pros:

Excellent location! Right around the corner from great coffee shops and restaurants. Loved the common areas - morning coffee on the covered deck. Also hanging out in the courtyard on our final evening as we waited for a late flight.

Cons:

I’m sensitive to artificial sprays and I’m not sure, but I think they used an air freshener in the rooms. Didn’t like that. Other than that, super friendly staff. Great value for money.
