Pros:

The food was amazing, the room was clean, well equipped, the bed was warm and very comfortable. The staff were lovely and friendly, we felt very welcome.

Best dog welcoming hotel ever
Pros:

This Hotel exceeded our expectations, firstly we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. We have just moved from Sydney to New Zealand that day along with our very friendly border collie. We thought we would have to eat in our room because we couldn’t leave our dog alone just after her very first plane ride. The staff informed us, we could have Tara ( our dog) join us in the restaurant. Then we enjoyed their exquisite menu and wine list in a most relaxing atmosphere. So relaxing, our
dog fell asleep at our feet. The room was warm spacious and cosy with everything we needed. A park across the street which was very dog friendly PS the food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious and the coffee in the early morning from restaurant kicked our day off perfectly. When we venture to Christchurch we’ll be booking again, dog or not. Thank you being so welcoming

Cons:

Our room faced the road which was quite noisy at times. Also the lighting was poor particularly in the bathroom which made getting ready for a function difficult.

Gorgeous hotel
Pros:

Absolutely perfect. Low key luxury, great service. You could not want for more. The rooms are gorgeous. Beautiful linens, coffee pod machine, lovely amenities, plenty of space including a balcony (in our booked room). This was honestly just a gorgeous place to call home in Christchurch. Plus the food is incredible at the restaurant. We had breakfasts and dinner there and it was exceptional. One of the best breakfasts I have ever had (eggs Benedict with salmon). And the gym is awesome as well. Just a well thought out, considered hotel. Beautiful. We will be back every time we have to stay in Christchurch.
