Friendly, efficient service. Very helpful staff. Comfy bed and decent bathroom.
A little noisy due to poorly fitting windows.
But good value and would stay again.

My husband and I spent nearly 15 days in Ethiopia. Every time we cane back to Addis we stayed at Lobelia before taking the next flight around the country. The place is nice, the workers are very kind and help you with everithing you need. The restaurant inside prepares the best shiro I ate in the whole trip (in my opinion of course). But the best thisng that happened to us was to meeting Abay. He is a tourism operator that works with other people at every place in the northern Ethiopia. At first we were planning to do the trip on our own, but quickly understood that because of the political conditions of the country nowadays, it wasnt a good idea. We were afraid of giving money to an unknown person, but we trusted, and to do so is my best advice for anybody. Abay is kind, he takes care of every detail. He works hard to give you a safe trip and to make you happy. He arranged the best allocations and the best guides at Gondar, Bahir Dar, Lalibela, Semera, Axum...
He waits for you at the airport every time you have to return to Addis, and makes a call every day just to check that everything is going good and you dont need something.
We had great time and unforgettable experiences, feeling safe at any time, and that was mainly due to Abay. Thank you, friend.

I don't like

We stayed for a week and were generally disappointed by the suite as the photos did not match reality, especially the bathroom. Shuttle service was almost 2 hours late for our airport pick up even though we were confirmed and on schedule at least a week prior. It only arrived after we'd made several phone calls to the hotel asking about the shuttle driver's whereabouts (they kept lying to us by saying it'll arrive in 5 mins). Once we made it to the hotel frustrated and exhausted, we complained to the lady at reception only to be met with an apology and a sad explanation that they had to prioritize picking up other passengers that were supposed to arrive the previous night - which was an insulting explanation for us. Furthermore, the floor our room was on was extremely noisy due to rowdy and disrespectfully loud guests - I was personally awoken between 2-5am for several nights in a row. Staff wasn't helpful in managing their guests. Manager was hard to reach as he hadn't shown up to the reception desk or the hotel during our entire stay. We've made several complaints to the reception staff and they ended up giving us false hope in a potential room change. As part of VIP Access perks, we did not enjoy all the benefits. Facilities are a joke - spa is just a steam room, no massage, unsanitary and tiny gym.

It was a good clean room for a good price. I can recommend this hotel. The food that was included was good and the personel friendly and helpful.

I balked 4 rooms for business travelers .Clean rooms , we liked the overall facilities of the hotel .The hotel is located in ideal area for business and Leasure guests. They have a Coustomized guest service for each guest which is important in a service industry.

Good staff, food was good. Staff call at weird times sometimes to ask about stuff. Outdated rooms, wall paper peeling. Beds are good but don’t have protective covers on them or pillows so not sure how they keep them clean between visitors. Shower not very clean, no AC, and windows don’t have a net or screens to keep out bugs so mosquitoes come in sometimes when you leave them open. Floors of room were generally clean.

Its a basic hotel near the airport with convenience stores , Has private ensuite washtooms and ATMs and shopping are within a 10 min walk . Very friendly and helpful staff. Went out of the way to get me a table fan and a hot water kettle . If you are a solo traveller or a group of friends , this is a convenient stopover .
It has a restaurant and breakfast is included . Also has free pickup and drop off to the airport

Staff and management indifferent to guests! Staff member tried to charge me for a complimentary sprite!
