The Location
No mirrow only a small one in the bathroom
Also the TV didn’t work
Confortable bed
Reception is inside a bar and the room is not in the same building. After check in, I had to walk 2 minutes in the street to reach the building of the room.
I stayed in a 2nd floor room and to reach there, it was necessary to climb a narrow and steep staircase

Very convenient location for Centraal. Because we were staying on the 4th floor and the stairs are very steep, it was good to be able to leave our suitcases in the storage area on the ground floor and we were impressed that the manager arranged for someone to be there at 5.30 a.m. to allow us to retrieve our luggage: excellent service. The range of beers in the bar was also good. Sadly I could not try that many as we had a very early train the following morning.
As expected the stairs were narrow and steep and the bedroom was small - but we knew that from the reviews. There was a smell of drains when we entered the bedroom but it had all but gone by the time we went to bed.

Noise, two karaoke bars opposite open till all hours even weekdays. Room very small but usual for amstrdam, also very warm room in summer heat.
