Location. Low price
Bathroom old, blind and window behind the toilet were broken and dirty.
It was close to the event I was attending and close to some shops for dinner etc.
The property was close to shopping & dining in Remuera Rd & transport, if needed.
The rooms were rather large & clean & tidy & provided everything you needed. I’d stay here again.
There was no lift and we had heavy suitcases.
Location.
It was very cold. The living room was completely unheated and given how sparsely furnished the rooms were it was the only place to hang out in comfort, though cold comfort.
Good budget hotel close to Auckland City. Bus stops out front, or a ‘level’ 10 minute walk from Remuera Station. Restaurants and shops are only a few metres (half block) away.
We love staying here, it has great character and is so close to everything. Also great that there is free parking.
The only thing we would suggest is an updated tv. A smart tv so you can watch Netflix or stream to the tv would add a lot more options. The remote didn’t work very well when sitting in bed.

Location
There is nothing boutique about the place and it’s more like a roadside motel. I feel duped as the photos lead you to believe otherwise! You can hear your neighbours every move and the road traffic lull you awake in the wee hrs.
