Great Location
Pros:

This hotel's location was perfect with many shopping areas and food choices. The rooms were spacious. The kitchen area was excellent as was the bathroom. It was perfect for those with handicapping conditions or for older people. The sofa bed was a wonderful addition with only one bed in the room.

Cons:

The breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing. We didn't end up using it. The selection for those with dietary concerns was missing. It would have been more helpful to have it open everyday til 10.

Pros:

The rooms were spacious for a hotel. The bathroom was perfect for anyone with a handicapping condition as well as those without. The refrigerator and microwave were a great asset.

Cons:

The breakfast buffet was disappointing. We didn't end up using it.

Great Stay
Pros:

We stayed at the Residence Inn - Polaris (Columbus) for one night as a family between Christmas and New Year's. The hotel was up-to-date and clean. The room was very nice with a mini-kitchen, sitting area, king bed and bathroom.

The hotel had a very nice lobby with fireplace. In the morning, this is where the breakfast was and it was very good. There was also an outdoor firepit, which we saw many people enjoying.

The staff were all very nice and helpful. Check-in was quick and prompt. The hotel is close to an endless array of good restaurants and shopping; including a large mall.

The only downside to the stay was that the hallway smelled very strongly like fish or something else we couldn't identify; however, our room smelled fine. The pool was very nice, but cold. And we would have really enjoyed a not tub by the pool.

All in all, it was a very nice stay and we would stay again.

Almost Excellent
Pros:

I selected this hotel for a simple reason, its excellent location for an overnight shopping trip in Columbus. The price was fair for the area, and the curb appeal was good. Inside, the common areas were clean, well kept, and nicely updated, with a competitive complimentary breakfast. As a final note, the service from every employee was excellent.

The room is where my opinion of this property drops from excellent to just good. I had a one bedroom suite with ADA accessibility. (It was not what we requested but was open so no complaints.) The room was nicely decorated with nice furniture and a logical design. The dishes were clean, the sofa bed comfortable, and the regular bed average. The restroom was also well appointed. However, there were some cleanliness issues in my room. These include dust buildups in multiple places, something sticky on the desk chair, and weird orange residue in the tub. As a final negative, the blanket provided for the pull out sofa was rather raggedy.

Overall, while this hotel could slightly improve itself, it's still a good option, with an excellent location, and great service.

Great price, Great location, great hospitality, great room....bad next day experience.
Pros:

The room and everything was awesome. We asked to be put away from everyone because it was our wedding night and they did just that! We were so grateful.

Cons:

We found out the hard way that there were NO security cameras on the outside of the building. Our 2019 Chevrolet Silverado was broken into a long with about 10 other cars and trucks the night we stayed. It's a shame that they didn't invest in security cameras so we could recoupe the 580$ it was to fix the window. They should definitely invest in outdoor security cameras so their customers feel safe. We liked our stay so much that we were thinking about making a new tradition to stay there on our anniversary every year, but we will not if they don't install outdoor cameras.

Great location but plan on breakfast somewhere else.
Pros:

The location was perfect!! Stuck in a terrible snow storm but had every thing nearby.

Cons:

The breakfast area was closed in and very small. Ran out of food quickly and wasn’t in a hurry to refill anything. People standing around in the tight area waiting for food. Workers kept cleaning the counter instead of getting the hot food out. Would rather not have spent that much money expecting breakfast.

Our room smelled like marijuna every 30min.
