Pros:

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön in einem Park, sehr ruhig, schöner Pool. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit Balkon. Frühstück sehr vielfältig und gut. In die Stadt, Ortigia sind wir mit dem Bus, Linie 103, gefahren, ist günstig und klappt sehr gut. Bushaltestelle ca. 100m entfernt. Zu empfehlen!

Pros:

The faded grandeur of what must have been a great venue in the past. Several staff were very pleasant and helpful - Flavia in particular is a real asset to the hotel as is the breakfast room manager

Cons:

The location is terrible so we incurred significant extra cost in taxis(€210+++). The room was faded, old. The toilet flush kept breaking, one balcony door was broken and we had to prop a chair under the handle to make it close otherwise the air conditioning wouldn't work. There was a very bad smell of drains several times. We asked staff to assist but nothing was fixed. Several staff were very grumpy and know nothing of customer service. We would never go back.

Comfortable hotel but not much around it.
Pros:

Classic hotel, lots of rooms, well maintained, nice gardens, parking and a bar.
Plenty to do in Syracuse and beyond

Cons:

A bit out of town, but we drove in and parked which wasn't extortionate. Bizarre tea and coffee choices but okay. Not much around but we did walk 10 mins to a very nice restaurant and pub nearby.

Praticamente niente

Cons:

Camera con diverse ragnatele, prima di mettermi a letto ho dovuto uccidere una dozzina di zanzare, doccia piena di calcare, colazione scarsissima (non hanno latte vegetale, con un po' di frutta, fette biscottate, marmellate confezionate, qualche torta e un po' di salumi, per essere in Sicilia mi sembra troppo poco e anche di qualità scadente. Salvo solo il personale, molto cortese

Sehr schönes Hotel inmitten der Stadt.
Pros:

Das Hotel lag mitten in der Stadt und doch fühlte es sich wie eine Oase in der Stadt an.
Das Auto stand sicher in der, durch ein Tor abgesperrten Hotelanlage.
Der Park war wirklich würderschön. Am Pool lässt es sich aushalten. Liegen und Poolhandtücher sind vorhanden.
Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Eine halbe Stunde vor Frühstücksende wurden die Pancakes und Rühreier aber nicht mehr aufgefüllt. Also besser nicht kurz vor Schluss frühstücken. Eine Bushaltestelle gab es in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Cons:

Man darf im Zimmer keine mitgebrachten Getränke und Speisen verzehren.
Die Preise für die Übernachtung von einem auf den anderen Tag variieren sehr. Wir wären noch eine Nacht länger geblieben, wenn wir das Zimmer für den gleichen Preis bekommen hätten. Für die Verlängerungsnacht wollten sie aber 35 € mehr, was unlogisch ist, da wir die Bettwäsche und Handtücher eh schon benutzt hatten. Eigentlich hätte es günstiger sein müssen (ausgebucht waren sie jedenfalls nicht, da auf Booking noch Zimmer verfügbar waren). Aber vielleicht wird hier ja anderes gerechnet.
