Great location and staff, but basic for the price
Pros:

The biggest positive is the location, right on the Leidseplein with lots of good bars and restaurants and right by the airport bus stop. Really friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

You don’t get much for your money in Amsterdam, a fridge and a kettle would have been good.

Excellent location, one of the safest parts of Amsterdam to stay and enjoy the culture.
Pros:

Perfect location for museums, concert venues, park (rare in Amsterdam), everywhere within easy reach by trams. Building was a typical Amsterdam town house which made you feel part of the life of the city.

We loved our room, it was super clean and comfy.
We also appreciated staff's great attitude, they were very helpful and genuinely nice.
