Fantastic stay at Hotel Eggers
Pros:

A gorgeous hotel, excellent location, comfortable beds. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the overall experience is fantastic, will definitely be returning in the future :)

Don’t stay here. There are better options. Noisy and expensive

Sadly we didn’t like much. The receptionist was charming. But everything else was really not very good

Everything. The location is described as central. That’s not accurate. It’s right next to the railway station and right on a main road with constant car and tram traffic. The noise is dreadful. There’s no double glazing. The receptionist offered us earplugs as they know the noise is a huge problem
The interior is shabby and looks unclean
It’s very expensive for what is a tired and noisy hotel. We didn’t stay one night here but relocated to another hotel.

wunderschönes altehrwürdiges Hotel, das aber den modernen Komfort hat.
Pros:

Das Hotell liegt gleich beim Bahnhof, es ist aber in Göteborg am Bahnhof sauber und nicht laut, da dort keine Autos fahren.
Die gute Lage war auch sehr praktisch, als mich mein Patenonkel, der nicht Auto fährt und in Varberg wohnt, spontan besuchen kam für ein Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant.
Die Zimmer sind ausgesprochen schön hergerichtet und es hat einen Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher etc. auf dem Zimmer, was ich sehr schätzte.
Man kann Zimmer mit Badewanne oder welche mit Dusche wähle. Bei meiner Badewanne wäre auch das duschen möglich, aber unpraktisch.
Es hat einen wunderschönen Gemeinschaftsbereich.
Das Restaurant ist wirklich das beste, in dem ich bis jetzt in Schweden war: alles war sehr lecker und ich konnte etwas weglassen, das ich nicht mag und dafür ein anderes Gemüse wählen. Die Portionen waren auch nicht so gross, dann liegt sogar ein Dessert noch drin.

Cons:

Detail im Restaurant: das Besteck war von der Grösse nicht passend beim Dessert.
Ich hatte so einen Schokoladekuchen mit Orangenglace bestellt und bekam einen grossen Suppenlöffel.
Angenehm und laut internationalen Standards "richtig" wäre ein langer "kleiner" Glacelöffel und eine Kuchengabel, allenfalls mit Dessert Messer gewesen.

Trevligt, mysigt, rent och fräscht. Fint rum.

Cons:

Hade önskat att köket var öppet söndagar.
Också gärna eluttag och sminkspegel på badrummet.
Större utbud av TV kanaler.
