Overall, we had a really nice stay at D’Andrea Mare in Rhodes, especially as a family with children.

The hotel looks great, the pools are excellent, and there are plenty of activities for kids – arts and crafts, entertainment, and Kids Dance in the evening, which our children absolutely loved. They were so excited every night! The staff were also very friendly, helpful and welcoming.

The room was very clean and spacious, which we really appreciated. However, the water pressure in the shower was terrible, and the shower door didn’t close properly, so water kept flowing out onto the bathroom floor.

The biggest disappointment for us was the food. We found it average at best, and often below average. For children it was fine – burgers, fries, sausages, pasta and other basic options that kids usually enjoy.

For adults, however, it really felt like the cheapest possible ingredients were being used. At the same time, the chef seemed to be trying a little too hard to be creative and sophisticated with the dishes, unfortunately at the expense of taste. There were lots of unusual combinations, sauces and attempts to make the food more interesting, when honestly we would have preferred much simpler food made with better-quality ingredients that simply tasted good.

There were also a couple of things that made us raise an eyebrow, especially considering this is an all-inclusive hotel.

Pool towels can only be exchanged three times a week, and you have to go to the spa to exchange them. So you basically need to keep your towels, take them back to the room and dry them yourself. It’s not a huge issue, but it’s not exactly what you expect from an all-inclusive holiday.

The water situation was even stranger. You receive one small bottle of water per person per day in the room. If you want more, you can go to the restaurant and refill it yourself.

Jamais de place à la piscine car les gens mettent leur serviette à 7h et reviennent à 13h. Plage pas entretenue.
Chambre pas assez isolé car on entends les avions passer.
Buffet par thème tous les soirs mais souvent pareille.
Salle de sport avec machine cassé.

Das Hotel entspricht in meinen Augen nicht einem 4 Sternen Hotel.
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, gerade beim Essen. Viele Familien nehmen keine Rücksicht und hinterlassen viele Nahrungsmittel am Boden und auf den Tischen. Das Personal bleibt freundlich und bemüht Ordnung zu machen.

Cons:

Wenn man keine Kleinkinder hat, sollte diese Unterkunft nicht gebucht werden.
Weiter ist es widersprüchlich, sie geben an möglichst ökologisch zu sein, überall Plastik. Strohhalme zusätzlich noch eingepackt in Plastik, so findet man am Meer im Strand und im Wasser Müll vom Hotel, in meinen Augen nicht zeitgemäss. Da es so viele Alternativen und wiederverwendbare Produkte gibt.

In unserem Zimmer fanden wir bei Ankunft noch ein Kondom in der Dusche.

Entspannte Tage in Ialyssos
Pros:

Schönes Hotel in Strandnähe, tolle Poolanlage für Groß und Klein. Wir konnten immer freie Liegen finden. Essen von sehr guter Qualität und auch abwechslungsreich. Betten sehr bequem. Wir konnten hier schnell abschalten und in den Urlaubsmodus finden. Animation unaufdringlich, Abendunterhaltung abwechslungsreich. Wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge.

Täydellinen - Täällä ihminen rentoutuu.
Pros:

Tilava ja erittäin siisti joka puolelta. Lapselle sopivan vauhdikas vesiliukumäki. Buffetti on aivan mieletön.

Cons:

Lentokoneet laskeutuu aivan hotellin päältä, välillä aika kova meteli niistä, varsinkin jos iltaisella lapsi alkaa nukkumaan.

Fantastisches Familienhotel!
Pros:

Wunderschöne Anlage, nur ca. 15 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt. Sehr praktisch, wenn man mit einem Kleinkind reist.
Einerseits hat man zwar untertags immer wieder den Flugzeuglärm, andererseits war unsere Tochter jedesmal begeistert, wenn sie die Flugzeuge beim Landeanflug beobachten konnte :)

Das Essen ist außergewöhnlich gut und das Personal ebenso. Total freundlich und sehr aufmerksam, besonders im Umgang mit Kindern.
Die Auswahl beim Essen hat uns sehr beeindruckt. Wir haben auch regelmäßig das Angebot der Snack Bar und die Pool Bar genutzt. Man ist wirklich rundum versorgt.
Es gibt mehrere Pools, einen Kinderspielplatz, einen Kids Club und einen direkten Strandzugang. Tagsüber und abends verschiedene Aktivitäten und Programme.
Außerdem gibt es auch einen eigenen Mini Markt auf der Anlage, mit den wichtigsten Dingen für einen Familienurlaub.

Wir hatten ein schönes, modernes Zimmer, die Größe war ausreichend und die Ausstattung sehr gut. Es wurde jeden Tag ordentlich gereinigt. Safe und Klimaanlage waren für uns wichtig. Auf Anfrage wird auch ein Babybett zur Verfügung gestellt.

Auch den Shuttle Bus in die Altstadt haben wir ein paar Mal genutzt. Hin- und Rückfahrt kosten für Erwachsene je 9€, für Kinder ab 2 Jahre 6€, für die ganz kleinen ist die Fahrt kostenlos. Hat jedesmal zuverlässig geklappt.

Ich kann das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen! Besonders für Familien :)

Great food, lovely room upgrade and a wonderful stay!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The food was delicious, with a wide range of vegetarian options available at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The fish was especially tasty and everything was fresh and well prepared.

We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a free room upgrade on arrival, without even asking. We had originally booked a standard room, but the hotel upgraded us to a spacious family room suitable for our family of three.

The food, room upgrade and overall hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. We really appreciated the excellent service and would happily stay here again.

Cons:

The only thing we noticed was a strange smell around the balcony and on the stairs going up and down to our room. We wondered if it might have been related to the nearby beach or the wooden panels. It was more noticeable on some days, although when the weather was very hot, we did not notice the smell as much.
