Pros:

The swimming pool which was recently opened from renovations. Not the biggest pool but not tiny either.
Our family room was big though it did not have a view would definitely book again with a view.

Cons:

Our family room didn’t have a view just a white wall from the building next door.

Nice staff, good location, wonderful breakfast
Pros:

Nice hotel in a central location. The staff were wonderful and were happy to take care of anything I needed including organizing my mini bus ride to Vang Vieng and my train ticket on to Luang Prabang ( which are not always easy to get). The breakfast was exceptional. Lots of fruit and yogurt along with the option to order hot asian or western food.

Cons:

As always, the beds were a little firm but not as bad as someplaces. This is normal for Asia so not a complaint.

Awesome hotel in great location
Pros:

Location, cleanliness, lovely hotel, pool and staff. Great to have 2 big comfortable chairs in the room and a balcony.

Cons:

Pool lovely however in the shade most of the day. Bed not as comfortable as others have been. Shower in our daughter's room drenched bathroom whenever used which they found frustrating.

Pros:

As the name suggests, charming. Updated French colonial, but definitely Loatian. Lovely staff, excellent location. The attached restaurant is also quite good.
