Pros:

The staff was lovely. The breakfast was delicious. Its very close to the central sites.

Cons:

There was a small ac issue that the staff quickly fixed. As it is close to the night market you will hear the music until around 10 p.m.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt
Pros:

Dieses Hotel mitten im Zentrum war ein Glücksgriff für mich! Das Zimmer ist ist groß, hell, und auf liebenswürdige Art ein bisschen altmodisch - die Einrichtung besteht noch aus echtem, dunklen Holz. Das Frühstücksbuffet war völlig ausreichend, der Pool groß und sauber, das Personal durch die Bank freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich werde hier gerne wieder einkehren.

Cons:

Die Liegen rund um den Pool sind unbequem. Wenn man länger drauf verweilt, drückt der Metallrahmen durch die Rattanbespannung hindurch schmerzhaft ins Kreuz. Eine Auflage/Matratze würde helfen...

Uistekend hotel in hartje Vientiane
Pros:

Wij zijn nu voor de derde keer geweest (voorheen nov. 2022 en 2024) en het hotel beviel nog steeds uitstekend. Het personeel herkende ons nog bij binnenkomst; ofwel een goed en gastvrij geheugen of wij hebben een goede indruk achtergelaten. Wij gokken op het eerste.

Het zwembad is recentelijk gerenoveerd en dat maakt dat het een erg prettig zwembed is om te zijn. In het gehele hotel heerst een rustige, maar huiselijke sfeer. Daar draagt het personeel absoluut aan bij; ze zijn vriendelijke, behulpzaam en vooral oprecht aardig en geinteresseerd.

De kamers zijn ruim en stil; ook de kamers aan de voorzijde van het hotel. Je hebt geen last van de weg die voor het hotel langs loopt.

Cons:

Als we iets moeten noemen dan is het dat het matras naar onze smaak iets te hard is. Dit is absoluut geen dealbreaker; maar puur een kleine opmerking.

Pros:

3 ème année , nous reviendrons l année prochaine.Service navette aéroport, gare , localisation , gentillesse de toute l équipe, et le café Indochine..C est très bien pour un transit de 2c3 jours.Une année nous essayerons plus longtemps pour découvrir la capitale..

Nice stay in Le Charme
Pros:

I had a nice stay at the Le Charme Hotel in Vientiane. The hotel itself is very nice, and the swimming pool - with wonderfully cool water - was one of the highlights of my visit; I truly enjoyed my morning brief swim. The staff were consistently kind and friendly, and the hotel rooms were spacious, with a comfortable bed and well-functioning air conditioning, which was absolutely essential given the very hot weather during my stay in Laos. Overall, these elements made the hotel feel comfortable and welcoming.

Cons:

There are, however, several reasons why I would not choose this hotel again. The location, while convenient for those wanting to be close to restaurants and major streets, is extremely noisy. Sounds from the busy main road carry into the rooms, and additional noise comes from a nearby building undergoing renovation, with work continuing from early morning until late evening. I was initially assigned a room next to a piece of machinery that produced constant noise; although I appreciate being upgraded to another room, the noise issue remained due to the street. Another point of caution is mosquitoes: despite the room being disinfected, I experienced mosquito bites on the first night. There were no plug‑in repellent devices available - only chemical sprays, which are not ideal. In terms of value for money, I find the hotel on the expensive side, especially considering that four‑star hotels in the city often provide much better value for a similar or lower price.

Very nice hotel in a fantastic location
Pros:

Very nice hotel in a fantastic location. Our room was large, clean with a decent sized bathroom. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best we had in eight weeks in Southeast Asia. Lovely swimming pool as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

My only complaint is that the beds in our room need an upgrade. They were just a little bit uncomfortable and not because they were hard (I’m used to that with Asian beds) but the mattresses felt just a little bit worn.

Great location, a pool and bar
Pros:

Great location. Pool very good on a hot afternoon. The front bar at street level, and restaurant had a good vibe and friendly. Balcony for our room was too small to use. Staff helpful at reception but some difgiculty with English. Would stay again. Our room was generous size with desk, chair and light. Also two upholstered, comfortable chairs...a very nice touch.

Short stay between flights
Pros:

Excellent room at front of hotel with balcony. A/C was good.
Excellent breakfast.

Cons:

We left the hotel late afternoon and needed to shower and change. It was suggested we used the shower in the fitness suite. It was well equipped with towels and shower gel, however there was only cold water!
