A lovely, friendly hotel . Great breakfast

Zimmer sehr geräumig, Dusche super, viele Handtücher.
Wasserspender am Gang. Viele Polster.
Rezeptionistin sehr nett
Parkplatz hinter Hotel.

Cons:

Personal beim Service sehr langsam , sehr jung und scheinbar unerfahren. Frühstück sehr wenig Auswahl, kein Käse, Gemüse oder Wurst. Sehr wenig Gebäck.
Für Kinder kein Kakao oder andere Warmgetränke.

A brilliant stay
Pros:

We liked our room here ( family suite ) . It was really comfortable spacious and very clean . We liked the decor as it was uncluttered . We also thought the breakfast room was lovely with views over the beach . When we arrived we were welcomed warmly and everything we needed to know was explained well . Breakfast was excellent and the staff always friendly and helpful . We also ate dinner here three times as we enjoyed it so much . Another great thing is having to coffee shop in the lobby where you can get sandwiches , cake coffees drinks to eat in or take away . More hotels should do this . Overall we can only say we thoroughly enjoyed staying here and hope to return . Thank you to all the staff

There was nothing to dislike , though maybe if staying at the front road noise might be an issue

ok für eine Nacht aber nicht länger, wegen dem Lärm von der Strasse.
Pros:

Hotel war an einer guten Lage, vis a vis vom Meer. Gutes Frühstück.

Cons:

Leider findet dort jeden Abend von privaten Leuten Autorennen statt an der Strasse wo sich das Hotel befindet was leider dazu führt, dass es sehr laut ist im Zimmer! An den Wochenenden ist es noch schlimmer. Restaurant Bedienung nett aber etwas am Träumen ☺️

It was a very special birthday & wedding anniversary & there was champagne, a decorated plate with little nibbles , & a hand written card from the staff at the hotel.whichbwas a beautiful touch.We also had our room upgraded( although we paid for that) & it was lovely overlooking the seaside..
The food in the restaurant is fantastic,all the servers are top notch, Laura & Nathan & Alex on Tuesday night were exceptional with our service. A credit to the hotel.
The lounge area in the hotel is very comfortable for coffee etc .

Cons:

Not the hotels fault, the boy racers at 11,pm every night we're racing past the hotel,very loud exhausts.

Pros:

Beautiful view from room. The staff were wonderful, the food was excellent.

Cons:

We had booked two rooms for us and another couple.. Our own room was spacious with an extra large double bed as we expected and had organised for both rooms..
Our friends were in a much smaller room with a small double bed and it was very stuffy, they were extremely disappointed with it .
We were told on checking in, that both rooms were the same and we paid the same for both rooms.
We discussed this with the receptionist on departure.

One Night at the Marine
Pros:

Staff very approachable and helpful. Location great.

Cons:

No iron or ironing board in room. Also room near some kind of ventilation system which woke us early in the morning.

It was very nice. Hotel was great.
Pros:

The suite was great. Lovely view of the ocean - a big bathtub in the room and a separate shower. And the mini-bar was free. We liked Evita a lot. She was very helpful and always smiling.

Cons:

We were disappointed in the choices for lunch. We had driven quite a way and were looking forward to something a little more substantial. There were only sandwiches and sausage rolls. I ordered a sandwich which was most unappealing and I sent it back and wasn't charged for it. The problem probably was the fact that a huge coachful of tourists were eating there for lunch, but they should think about making that more appealing. The first night some crazy guy was driving his car up and down the promenade and revving it and making such a din. It went on until after 1:30. I don't know if there are any police in Ballycastle but thankfully when he stopped, I was able to sleep.
