Garni Hotel Miklič

Wonderfully welcoming small family owned and managed hotel. Gregor and his father are so friendly and helpful as are all the staff.

We were given room 5 for our 3 night stay which with very large with a separate living area and balcony with a view of the mountains. Decor and furniture are fairly simply but feels quite homely and most importantly bed was very comfortable. Bathrooms, though, appear to have been recently modernised and we had a walk in shower. Everywhere is clean and tidy.

Good buffet breakfast is included with cooked to order eggs, if you want them. There is on site parking both outside and in the underground garage and even a small fitness room.

The location is just a 5 min walk to bars and restaurants in the small village centre.

Ochotný majitel, starší pán který chytil náš velký kufr, než jsem mu stihl říct že to není třeba a vyběhl s ním až do pokoje v 1.patre. Úslužný a stále usměvavý personál, velmi dobré snídaně, na požádání udělají vajíčka na jakýkoliv způsob... vše čisté a voňavé a taky funkční a místo blízko do centra a zároveň klidné 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The family who owns the hotel was wonderful at check-in, and throughout our stay to answer questions and provide suggestions of restaurants, hikes, site-seeing, etc. The room was very comfortable and spacious, and we loved the balcony! The breakfast was amazing! Highly recommended!

Hotel precioso, habitaciones enormes y unas vistas espectaculares. El baño totalmente reformado. La ubicación muy buena. Personal muy amable y servicial. El desayuno muy bueno, todo casero y con muchas opciones.

L'ospitalità e la gentilezza di tutto lo staff, l'aiuto che ci hanno voluto offrire e anche la colazione. Le camere sono comode e con il fresco di agosto abbiamo dormito benissimo. La struttura è davvero confortevole, ma nulla rispetto alla disponibilità della famiglia Miklic!

Lovely hotel. Absolutely amazing views from the room. The apartment itself was spacious and very comfortable. Really friendly helpful team working with Gregor. Great location with lots to do nearby - including places to eat and drink in the evening as well as walks and swimming in the day. In a world where sometimes hotels can feel similar wherever you are, Hotel Miklic stands out for homeliness, and location. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Garni Hotel Miklič has a wonderfully homely feel, but it was the owners and staff who really made our stay exceptional. Very few hotels truly understand what customer service means, and this one is definitely among them. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome and looked after.

The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options for our family of vegetarians, including suitable choices for one family member with gluten-free requirements.

On our first day, we stopped in Kranjska Gora on our way to the Soča Valley from the airport. We didn’t want to leave all our luggage in the car while we were out for the day, so we stopped at the hotel to ask if they could help. They very kindly took our luggage and placed it safely in our room ready for when we arrived to check in later that evening.

The location is also perfect. There are plenty of excellent restaurants and places to eat within a 5–10 minute walk, making it very convenient for exploring the area.

Overall, a fantastic hotel with exceptional service, a great location and genuinely warm hospitality. We would have no hesitation in staying here again and would highly recommend Garni Hotel Miklič to anyone visiting Kranjska Gora.
