Beautiful location by the harbour. The breakfast was very good, and there is also a good restaurant nearby called Krakan.
The check-in experience was rather disappointing. We had booked with a dog, which we had clearly mentioned in our reservation and which had been confirmed. However, when we arrived, there was no dog-friendly room available. We were offered a regular room instead, but only if we paid extra. The receptionist was willing to cancel the booking, but in the end I decided to accept the extra charge. Still, the situation did not feel right. On the positive side, we did receive a lovely welcome package for our dog with some treats.
The room was also very warm, which made it less comfortable.
We had parked at a free parking area nearby, but according to the receptionist this was not the best option. He advised us to use the hotel parking instead, which required registration. Afterwards, we received a bill for the parking.
Overall, the location is beautiful and the breakfast was a highlight, but the handling of the dog accommodation, parking information, and room temperature was poor and could have been much clearer.
