Location is perfection and everything during my stay was excellent. It was clean and staff was super friendly.
nothing
Location is ideal. Right on top of everything. Literally walked out the hotel door and tons of great restaurants were right there.
There was nothing that could have been improved. The staff was very polite and helpful when needed.
Hele centrale locatie. Alles in het centrum op loopafstand. Kamer en bed heel comfortabel. Heerlijk ontbijt.
Erg warm in de kamer maar gelukkig kon het raam open.
I can recommend the trip. Very welcoming staff, great location, and friendly service. Apotek hotel restaurant is the best restaurant in town in my opinion.
The hotel is in the center it Reykjavík near many restaurants and pickup locations for tours.
The restaurant has a lovely restaurant for all your meals.

It was my friend and I’s first time to Iceland and we stayed here for 4 nights and had a blast. The location was awesome to walk to everything, and we booked massages through the hotel that were such a great way to start the trip after a long flight. The spa at the sister hotel next door was beautiful and relaxing. The room was perfect size for two people and the beds were comfy. I would stay again!
Chambre confortable et bien décorée, très bonne salle de bain.
Chambre un peu étroite, pas d’eau minérale au réfrigérateur
Great hotel for easy access to harbour, bus stops and city hotspots.
Staff are super helpful and friendly.
Breakfast is fantastic, so much on offer you will not go hungry.
Only downside is size of the rooms, ours was quite small, ok for a short stay but I wouldn’t want to stay longer than a few days. Otherwise this hotel is perfect.
Hotel was amazing, great location in walking distance to everything downtown. Staff was great, helped us book a flybus to airport and also held our bags after we checked out so we could walk the area and shop before heading home. Highly recommend!
The hotel was beautiful, the room (Junior Suite) was spacious and very comfortable. We had to leave before breakfast on our fist morning and were thrilled with the packed breakfast that was prepared for us. The buffet breakfast on the remaining mornings was exception. Delicious and an amazing selection
I couldn't fault the hotel at all.
We were 2 families occupying 4 rooms and found the hotel perfect for our group. I could not have wanted a better, more central location. Molten Brown products, nicely appointed rooms (the suite was a nice size, the double was small), the hotel restaurant was excellent - both the breakfast spread as well as dinner and cocktail menus. The front desk was very responsive in advance of our stay re: activities. Would definitely recommend and feel we got a lot of value for our money. A little loud on the street below at night - use a white noise machine.
Perfect hotel. Clean rooms, great beds, amazing staff. Restaurant has yummy food and was always busy. Best location in the downtown area
We loved our stay at the Apotek Hotel, The staff were very friendly & welcoming & the hotel was very clean & the bed was comfortable.
There was plenty of selection to choose from at breakfast, & the hotel is in a perfect location to explore Reykjavik.
Overall a pleasant experience.
Highly recommended 10/10
Had a lovely birthday trip to Iceland / Reykjavik, this hotel is very nice with friendly staff. Hotel breakfast is very good and hotel's restaurant is very good as well, we did have the 7 course Icelandic menu and that was really good! We also got room upgrade since it was my birthday, which was really nice! We will certainly come back.
The location is great! The hotel has a very nice boutique charm wih the wide marble stair case and overall architecture. The hotel staff at the front desk are friendly and responsive. The resturant next door is expensive (as is the rest of Iceland :)) but the food is very good and the service is excellent. As a couple, the junior suite would be smallest room I would be comfortable; it is a nice space with the seperate sitting area. While I respect the need to minimize washing towels the lack of daily room service creates a unkept situation, e.g. garbage overfilling and spilling on the floor, running out of tissue, etc.
The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was small, but functional. Very convenient location. Exceptional breakfast options at buffet. The only criticism is that coffee was just in a thermos. Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again! Price was competitive.
