Van t personeel is Gabriel echt ontzettend behulpzaam en vriendelijk.
Het was leuk dat de lagune achter t hotel was voor de plankton visjes.
Je kon gratis kayakken vanuit het hotel.

Cons:

Elke dag geen stroom tussen 16u en 18u.
Geen WiFi in de kamers.
Personeel maakte ruzie in bijzijn van gasten in het restaurant.
Ontbijt is aan de matige kant.
Kamers waren net aan voldoende, wel aan onderhoud onderhevig.
Het is gewoon wat vergane glorie, verwacht geen prachtig resort. Geen waterdruk uit de douche.
Het eten in het restaurant is niet heel goed. Wij hebben bijna alle avonden ergens anders gegeten.
Wij zijn een dag eerder vertrokken. Vrouw bij de receptie leek dit niet eens te verrassen, die was overigens niet heel vriendelijk.

La tranquilidad del lugar y el trato del personal, que tuvo paciencia con nuestro grupo familiar y sus preguntas. Muchas gracias a Beatriz por la cálida bienvenida y por comunicarnos todo de manera muy clara.

Cons:

La mesa de pool y la de ping pong estaban un poco abandonadas (de todos modos uno puede pasar un buen rato en familia).

Las instalaciones espectaculares, cuenta con piscina, Ping pong, pool. La ubicación es buena ya que no hay viento presente. Habitación espaciosa. Preguntar porque con la estadía incluye kayak y actividad de plancton luminoso.

Cons:

Personal poco práctico, ordenar almuerzo y cena es lento y con demoras. El horario de la cena es limitado y temprano (18 a 20hs), límite de horario para pedir tragos o cualquier otra bebida también. La dueña del hotel está muy encima de los empleados, demandante. El predio es muy grande, podría aprovecharse mucho más de lo que se hace.

Relaxing getaway with a nice pool and tasty food.
Pros:

The property was super relaxing and the food and drinks were very tasty. The staff especially Fabio were friendly.

Cons:

The man in charge of the snorkelling, Julio was extremely unprofessional. He brought me on my excursion and asked me lots of personal questions such as if I was married, and my age. He continued to try to force me to snorkel with him and to extend my excursion. I felt unsafe as a solo female traveller.

Hôtel qui doit son prix à son cadre certes paradisiaque, et pas à ses services !

Nous avons aimé la gentillesse du personnel, le cadre, la piscine.

Cons:

Nous n’avons pas apprécié le petit déjeuner (pas assez de choix, pain moisi…), la propreté des toilettes (toilettes bouchées et sales), la lenteur du service au restaurant, la chambre (très sommaire).

Location and two staff members were very kind. The rest was absolutely awful. Worst hotel I have ever been in.

Cons:

Water stopped running. Rooms are outdated, dirty, moldy. No water pressure at all. Very limited restaurant. No curtain on shower. Some rude personnel. Ac made excessive noise all night. Last day we left the pool pump literally exploded. Green water on the pool. Absolutely disgusting

No me gustó nada! Ni la atención del personal (quien me llamó a los gritos para hacer el check in) ni la limpieza, ni las instalaciones ni los servicios que ofrecen. Todo PÉSIMO
El restaurante y el bar cierran 8 pm, se quedaron sin suministros (pedí un plato con guacamole que me sirvieron sin aguacate porque no tenían), no había azuzar para el desayuno, debi cenar antes de las 8 pm porque el bar cerraba y no pude pedir limonada de coco porque el bar estaba cerrando, nadie junto los envases, toallas y demás basura de las personas de la pasadía. Tuve que cambiarme de habitación porque la que había reservado (de categoría media, presentaba un olor insoportable y mancha de humedad!!

Una hermosa experiencia
Pros:

Excelente lugar, con espacios variados para recorrer, descansar y disfrutar. El personal es atento, capacitado y amable.
La administración del Hotel está atento a los comentarios de los huéspedes y dolucionaron muchas de las cosas que aparecen en Booking, como las baldosas de la piscina. Con respecto al agua de la ducha, es lo suficiente como para bañarse. Si esperas que el agua dulce en una isla sea como en el continente, no vayas a vacacionar a una isla.
El hotel es una joya en medio de un paraíso. Hay que saber ubicarse y comprender y saber disfrutar de las maravillas que ofrece Cocoliso.
También hice buceo, y la gente de Diving Planet (están en el predio del hotel) me hicieron vivir una de las experiencias más increíbles de mi vida.

Algo decepcionante
Pros:

Estar en el mar fue muy relajante. La piscina también es linda.
La cama era cómoda.
El servicio de Johan, Jorge y otro empleado del que no tengo su nombre.
Las hamacas también son chéveres.

Cons:

Empecemos por puntos:
El hotel es un hotel relativamente grande, en el cual en temporada alta, se evidencia que requiere de más personal.
La mayoría de los empleados como Johan y Jorge, (a excepción de una empleada), son muy buenos, ponen todo su esfuerzo en cumplir las expectativas de los clientes, sin embargo, no es suficiente esto; uno evidencia el descontento de otros huéspedes, (incluyéndome yo).
Es triste darse cuenta, que los empleados tienen horarios tan extensos, como estar desde horas tempranas de la mañana, hasta pasadas las 22h. No se les ve descansando, sino todo el tiempo yendo de un lugar a otro.

Uno llega como huésped con grandes expectativas, o es lo que me pasó, teniendo en cuenta que es un resort y el valor que se paga por la estancia y por los alimentos del restaurante…

No voy a decir que la comida es mala, pero creo que podría mejorar significativamente.
La mayoría de las veces que pedí algo para comer, terminé con sensación de pesadez, por la cantidad de ajo que le ponen a la comida (a mi me encanta el ajo, pero creo que en exceso no es bueno).
Mi novio no tolera el ajo… pedimos un ‘róbalo a la parmesana’, y era exactamente al ‘róbalo al ajillo’, solo que con un poco de queso rayado encima. Y justo antes de hacer el pedido, solicitamos que su comida no trajera ajo, pero no acataron las indicaciones. Traía tanta salsa de ajo, que tuvimos que devolver el plato y solicitar el cambio.

La comida demora una eternidad en llegar.
Te hacen un pedido con dos horas de antelación, supuestamente para tener la comida a tiempo, pero tiene uno que ir a preguntar, porque al uno sentarse a la hora en la que supuestamente está la comida, no sucede nada.

Otra situación, en la carta dice que hay jugos naturales, pero al pedir un jugo natural, la empleada que me atendía (morena, delgada, de estatura baja y cabello afro.

A decent place to have rest, if you can ignore what has been flagged on my review.
Pros:

The island had a decent pool with access to the bar. We saw how the pool was cleaned daily (however the side walls of the pool looked like it has never been cleaned properly).

Access to the bar from the pool was a highlight, however even though the workers were very friendly and with the best attitude you could tell management has not invested money in keeping the place appealing with the years. Barman had a fan on the middle of the ceiling that fully rusted (but working) and he did not have a fridge big enough to keep soft drinks/ liquor cold, which make the service slower by asking someone to run back and down to get the whole ingredients to make cocktails.

The rooms were super comfortable with AC and decent enough mattress and sheets. I had great night sleep, shower was also well maintained and cleaned.

The cashier was amazingly clear and friendly, answered every doubt and helped us much as she could.

Cons:

It seems half of the workers were being trained, the current receptionist should not work in a customer service role, you could see how disorganised and messy everything was just by listening to the workers talking to each other and most of all the current receptionist being super rude to other workers.

After the booking was made through this app, it was super difficult to contact someone from the Hotel to provide clear information on how to access the island.
We also did not receive any information on activities that could have been done on the island, besides going to the lagoon at night time.

The same day we left we overhear other guests talking about another island that was connected to Cocoliso, but no one ever provided a map or options on how to spend our time there.

Since we arrived I wanted to make sure the hotel was paid and they could not confirm on their end due to an issue in their system, fair enough. However I enquired for transport prices before arriving, and the value given when we were going to check out was different to the one provided via WhatsApp, receptionist finally charged us the correct amount but it was a total mess and did not feel like we were paying for a private stay.

The worst part ever was the return on the boats, for some reason the tiny boat was not full so the workers driving it decided to stop in two other different islands wasting everyone’s time, this could have been OK if someone would have explained to us, however since no one did, we asked on the boat and it seems they did not like our query and decided to drive back at max speed throwing so much water onto us that we arrived back at port absolutely wet, from our feet to our head, we were traveling with a kid and older people and they did not care. Please note I would have understood if the weather was bad but everyone else from any other boat arriving at the same time than us arrived completely dry and happy.
