The hotel was well located within walking distance to many of the main tourist sites.

The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed, with high ceilings, classic furnishings, and all the modern comforts you could want. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring the city.

The staff truly make this hotel special. Every interaction was friendly, professional, and attentive, with genuine care shown to guests at all times. Nothing felt rushed or transactional — just calm, gracious service throughout the stay.

Stille luksus midt i storbyen
Pros:

Virkelig flot hotel i klassisk fransk koloni-stil. Gammelt, men på den gode måde. Rigtig flotte badeværelser. Skøn luxuriøs stemning. Lækker morgenmad.

Good fundamentals, good for single night stay but a little tired
Pros:

I liked the historic nature of the building and overall setting. The staff were very attentive.

Felt like that it could do with a refit, that will also allow it to attract more clientele to build an atmosphere

A gem in Vientiane!
Pros:

What a gem!! Only staying at this Hotel worth the trip to Vientiane.
It keeps the glamour and comfort of the past.
I have no words for the personal. Since the beginning, they were very nice, polite, and helpful. We faced some problems during our trip, and they helped us with everything, making us feel at home.
Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. You have anything you may need.
Breakfast is nice, and taking it in the swimming pool area is the best way to start the day.
We had dinner at the restaurant, and I must say it is the best burger we have ever eaten.
Location is superb. Walking distance to street markets and Patuxai.
We recommend it, and for sure, we will be back soon.

Seulement un hôtel pas un palace
Pros:

Le personnel très arrangeant pour nous changer de chambre vers 22h30 car celle que nous avions , donnait sur une coursive et nous entendions le bruit très fort de la rue et de la musique du restaurant à proximité
Le charme désuet de l’hôtel qui fait penser à un décor d’Agatha Christie

Cons:

L’hôtel est situé en angle de 2 rues donnant sur plusieurs restaurants bruyants (musique ) et il ne faut surtout avoir des chambres donnant sur les coursives
Le petit déjeuner est sans intérêt très européen et manquant de variétés

Pros:

Lovely old colonial building. Warm greeting on arrival. Very comfortable bed with good quality linens. The bathroom could have had more places to put toiletries but otherwise it was fine. Good breakfast with a la carte offerings and good tea!

Nothing the hotel had control over.

Superb hotel, highly recommended.
Pros:

Spectacular hotel. Beautifully appointed, extremely quiet and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Lovely bathroom, top quality bed, spotlessly clean.

Cons:

The only thing that wasn't great were the restaurant prices. 130,000 ++ for a Beer Laos is a bit over the top! But the quality of the restaurant food (although it was also quite pricey) and the ambience were outstanding.

Très beau mais peu pratique
Pros:

L hôtel à du charme, avec son côté rétro et est bien situé. Il bénéficie d'une très belle piscine. Le personnel est très aimable. Le petit déjeuner est très bon.

Cons:

L hôtel manque de fonctionnalités. Impossible de recharger son portable et son mobile simultanément faute de prises électriques suffisantes et opérationnelles. La chambre est très sombre.
