Overall good place. Just slow services

I don't understand how it's possible that this hotel is a 5-star hotel. The room is embarrassing to say the least: dated and poorly maintained furniture, power outlets dangerously not adhering to the wall, unstable shower tray, broken shower cabin doors, a single towel, still the gel shower with very uncomfortable bags. Only appearance: a nice lobby and nothing else. 2-3 star hotel at most

Very friendly atmosphere. All staff are well trained !!

Overall, this is one of the better hotels I’ve stayed at. While it was quite busy during my visit—likely due to multiple meetings and events being held—it still managed to maintain good service. The breakfast buffet was definitely a highlight, offering a great variety and quality. However, the bar in the lobby lacked atmosphere; perhaps the location within the hotel doesn’t lend itself to a lively or inviting vibe.

I like and love the Restruant on 10th floor and especially the care and service..especially of Hawi Disasa...she is excellent, energetic and always eager to help...I wish her a brilliant career ahead. God bless Elilly.

My stay at Evilly International Hotel was disappointing, to say the least. The rooms were far from clean; upon entering, I immediately noticed dust and grime on the surfaces. The windows in my room lacked curtains, leaving me exposed to bright lights and lacking privacy. The bathtub was another issue altogether, visibly dirty and not well cleaned. Overall, the cleanliness standards at this hotel were below par, making for a very unpleasant experience.

The service was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful staff. I was an organizer of a training and the staff attended to my every need. They provided everything as I requested and when something is missing, they quickly amended. I recommend you to book them for your conferences.

Safe, clean,convenient.

Great service and kind staff. Comfy beds and overall a great looking hotel, too. My favourite part is the art they have on the walls! Very beautiful! Some of which you can purchase if you wish. Breakfast was good, too. It was buffet-style and there was a great variety of meals, traditional (+ fasting) and Westerner style too.

I booked a room and pick up from airport (domestic). Upon landing in Addis there was no van waiting for me so I started to call the reception (nobody replied to the listed numbers for 1 hour). When they replied they gave me the phone number of the driver: I had to call him and ask him to pick me up at the domestic arrivals, he was at international terminal and not willing to make the trip.
Finally arrived in the hotel I was upgraded from single room to king size but it was hard to get the invoice once the bill was paid.
Room was large but tired with walls not in the best shape and carpet looking dirty. Smell from the toilet was not nice.
Breakfast food (sweets) needs improvement: some items were old!
I left as soon as I could.
This is not a place for picky persons.

the hotel is welcoming and clean, the staff is really very kind and accommodating. we had a problem and they immediately solved everything making the holiday lighter. good location! small but comfortable sauna and the restaurant is delicious.

I didn't like it. Some of the staff were friendly and the bed was good. The restaurant staff was a 10/10.

There was no shower, just a bathtub, terrible!

The carpets were very dirty, there was no air conditioning, and the minibar was empty!

The minibar didn't work, I asked for a replacement and no one did anything.

The manager and the concierge simply ignored my request to replace the minibar, which was super small and could easily be replaced.

The safe box didn't work, a guy went to fix it, said he would come back and never came back. I had to call again 2 days later.

The TV only got 2 channels.

I found cockroaches in the cafeteria, walking around in the same area as the fruit.

The people selling at the counters are annoying you, trying to sell you things, they look like people who beg on the street.

They should also put up posters advising visitors to beware of pickpockets in the city of ADDIS ABABA. There are pickpockets EVERYWHERE around the hotel BE CAREFUL.

The glass door to the balcony didn't close properly and mosquitoes got in... Bring your repellent.

Considering it's a 5 star hotel, it left a lot to be desired. 😕

Five-Star Hotel in Addis Ababa (Finfinne) with Poor Service

This hotel used to be one of the best in terms of hospitality and service. However, recently, the quality of service has significantly declined. Employee motivation seems to be almost non-existent, and no one checks in with guests. We used one of their rooms for a workshop, which was poorly ventilated, cramped, and hot, while another room near the swimming pool was noisy. No one asked if we needed anything. Despite requesting coffee four times, I never received it. There was no clear person in charge of managing customer complaints, and overall, I received below-average service.

They systematically charged all of us, eventhough the whole stay was a business booking and had already been paid in full in advance by our agency. They will do it to you too. Completely shameless. Less serious matters; no hot water in the bathroom, badly cleaned room, terrible food at dinner.

Stayed at Elilly International hotel for two nights. The front team was friendly especially gelila others as well...foods were delicious and waitress was helpful.
Will definitely come with family. The housekeeping staffs were amazing also.

Elilly international hotel is one of the best hotel in addis abeba, located at the center of addis so it makes my stay easy and comfortable to go and come back from my conference,
The staffs were helpful specially the front desk staffs.
I hope i will go back soon for conference and i make reservation at elilly hotel

I recently stayed at Elilly International Hotel and was thoroughly impressed with their breakfast accommodations. The variety and quality of the breakfast options were outstanding. The pastries, in particular, were a delightful highlight – fresh, flaky, and absolutely delicious. The attention to detail in both the presentation and taste of the food made each morning a wonderful start to the day. Highly recommend!

The hotel is found at the districte of Kirkose and a walking distance from UNECA and Meskele square, the main things that i most like is the Security staff at the main gate are very nice and polite to the Hotel guests. I was there to use meeting facilities which was organized by the Addis Ababa City.
