Our stay in Nashville was fantastic and could have been much longer to explore the area more!
Pros:

Breakfast each day was fresh, good food with a well-stocked good selection to satisfy multiple morning cravings.

Cons:

My paid-in full ahead payment method through booking.com was denied at the hotel and I had to use an alternative payment when check in. I had to call the hotel a week later to settle a double charge to two payment methods for this one stay. It was resolved but it was inconvenient to say the least…and what if I didn’t have another method of payment when it was already paid in full ahead of time.

Nasty Customer Service
Pros:

The worst experience I have ever had with a member of staff in any establishment. Completely rude, nasty and ignorant receptionist who appeared to be on some sort of power trip. Claimed manager agreed with her, but when the issue was brought to managers attention they had no idea about the situation and were very accommodating. Receptionist either needs training or a new job because customer service is not for her.

The hotel and room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good and convenient! Great location! Close to great restaurants and walking distance to Broadway.

I was on a 14 day holiday with Riviera Travel to the Deep South USA & Texas and stayed for two nights at the Fairfield Inn Downtown/ The Gulch Nashville, our tour manager was Benita ‘B’ and our driver was Leo they looked after us on this tour, I was pleased to get a lovely comfortable room for my stay, I had everything I needed hairdryer,toiletries,iron and ironing board,safe,tv,tea and coffee making,fridge,microwave,bedside clock,WiFi, good housekeeping throughout the hotel and staff friendly and helpful, the hotel had a lovely roof top bar and restaurant area and good location within walking distance to shops and bars and restaurants and everything going on, breakfast was buffet style which was very nice, we visited the Jack Daniel’s distillery with guide Kathi, country music hall of fame, RCA studio B with guide Graham, Ryman Auditorium, the Grand Ole Opry and had free time in Nashville, thank you I enjoyed my stay at your hotel, I met up with some wonderful fellow travellers on this trip, being a solo traveller I wanted to share my experience, would definitely recommend this hotel.

Outstanding Customer Service
Pros:

This hotel is the best Marriott I have ever stayed at, and I am a longtime Marriott Bonvoy member, at one time Platinum, Gold now. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were outstanding! Shannon greeted us every evening and offers the BEST customer service. She made us and all the other guests feel like we are family! Shawn was also great, very empathetic and caring. I lost my purse and realized it soon after arriving, he did his best to help reassure me. Thankfully we had an honest Uber driver who brought my purse to me at the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and hope Shannon and Shawn are recognized for their commitment to customer service!

Room 515. Suite on 5th floor serviced by 2 lifts. Spacious room and large bathroom. Decent AC. Room is equipped for disabled guests. Inadequate cupboard hanging space. Plenty of electric plug points. Safe and fridge in room. Super king sized bed, settee and two large tv screens. Breakfast poor. Paper plates and plastic cutlery never experienced before in other hotels although subsequently experienced it in other US hotels. Limited food offerings. Room is overlooking car park. Stayed two nights. Housekeeping missed our room on one day - unknown policy re infrequent housekeeping. Rated 3.5/5.
