An almost fail....worked out.
Pros:

The room was clean and adequate for a one-night stay. It was in a great location, right off the freeway. The staff was friendly and worked hard to accommodate us despite the Booking.com discrepancy, which hadn't actually reserved a room.

Cons:

The Booking.com discrepancy or lack of connection to the actual property. The reservation was paid a month ahead of the stay date. There was a confirmation #, but when we got to the hotel, they didn't have a record of it in the hotel system. We were lucky they had a room because they were fully booked.

Easy and convenient with clean and quiet rooms.
Pros:

I appreciated the cool room, the simple and clean exercise room, the water cooler in the exercise room and the breakfast options. The front desk staff was also courteous.

Cons:

There was slight mold around the shampoo, conditioner and body wash containers in the shower and someone else's hair on the towel hook. I would have also appreciated a water filter in the room with the ice instead of only having one in the exercise room (which closes at 10PM)

Pros:

Very nice. Looks high end. Breakfast was good. Beds very comfortable. Always has hot water for showers.

Cons:

They have a hospitality bar which includes coffee, teas, lemonade and delicious baked cookies during certain hours. My highlight of the day. But the cookies were not put out on Fri, or Sat.

Worst time at Ayres Hotel Orange.
Pros:

The location was good for both Angel's Stadium and Disneyland.

Cons:

The only room left, per staff, was across the hallway from the Laundry Room, with the staff starting at 5:00am each morning. Very noisy.
The was no hot water for approximately 24 hours. This was not mentioned during our stay.
