ottima la colazione e la posizione. Suggestiva la parte interna della struttura. Camere pulite e con buoni servizi (frigo pulito e fornito di bevande., bollitore).

A wonderful property in the old city of Altamura
Pros:

We had a great stay at Hotel San Nicola. When we could not easily park the car because of construction nearby, the front desk attendant Mario drove the car for us to get it to the hotel. The breakfast was excellent and the room was very clean and new.

Cons:

The only drawback was the comfort of the 2nd bed which pulled out from a chair.

Love your hotel and would definitely stay again!
Pros:

Breakfast was great as well the conversation! The gentleman that sets up breakfast was so impressive in his interactions with the guests- he is a gem! All staff were friendly and gracious and made us feel at home!

Cons:

Pillows could be a little better. The most important thing when staying away from home is the comfort of the bed, the sheets, the temperature of the room, and adequate pillows, Overall, bed was very good in comparison to some places we have stayed. The temperature of the room was a bit warm and we were unable to make colder- if this were corrected, would be perfect.

Cons:

Pulizia camera non impeccabile. Difficoltà regolazione riscaldamento camera, cuscini scomodi e soprattutto sala colazione freddissima tanto da mettere il piumino per sedersi a consumare. Non capisco come mai far fare colazione in ambiente così freddo. Colazione non granché. A mio modesto parere non può essere un 4 stelle ma un normale 3 stelle senza troppe pretese.

This is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay in Altamura's Centro.
Pros:

This was our second stay at Hotel Nicola. Our first stay, several years ago, was wonderful - hence our return. This trip, we noted ongoing improvements in the property. The staff was exceedingly welcoming and helpful, and we enjoyed our interaction with them. One staff member consistently went out of his way to help with our car and explain how our access to the ZTL worked. Erik, at the front desk, was a font of helpful knowledge about the area and gave us suggestions regarding navigation and areas to explore. The breakfast was varied and exceeded what would be regarded as "typical," both in quality and quantity. And, of course, Altamura is beautiful and the Centro is exceedingly walkable.

Cons:

Honestly, this was a great stay - we plan to return when passing through the area next year for a third visit.
