Overall it was good for extended stay

Cons:

The breakfast was same thing every single day, The breakfast was until 9:30 AM but by 9:15,they stop restocking items that were finished. Hotel needs to put in place a rule for young children getting food unsupervised.

We had a completely wonderful stay at the Stay Bridges and WILL be back !!!
Pros:

The continental breakfast was just right !!! We enjoyed starting the day off w/the free breakfast. The rooms are updated, quiet, and exactly as depicted. We love the walk-ability of going to dinner on foot across the street to the Eureka, as well as Del Lusso Pizza which were both FANTASTIC !!!! The pool area at Staybridges is very nice, and the staff was friendly !!!

We truly loved our stay at the StayBridges, and we will be back in the future !!! We loved the free solar-covered parking that provided shade for our new vehicle !!! All together, it was an awesome stay !!!

Cons:

There is an "ant" problem at this time of year in Carlsbad, so we understood not to freak out over them,,,,, but there were quite a few in our room (which didn't turn out to be a problem). We appreciated the staff and the signs in the elevator informing us of this problem. One of the two elevators was out for the entire four day stay at Staybridges, and on Sunday, the 2nd one also went out. We were on the 3rd floor so it made it a pain to run up to the room over and over,,,,, this didn't matter to us, but we saw a lady on a cane that was complaining that she wasn't going to be able to take the stairs over and over. The one elevator was repaired by the end of the day, so everyone appreciated having access to it again !!!

Awesome hotel with a short drive to Legoland
Pros:

The room was great! Having the separated bedroom, kitchenette, and living room was exactly what we needed. The kids enjoyed having space to move around. The coffee maker and refrigerator functioned perfectly without being noisy. Carpets were clean enough to walk barefoot.
