Замените ковролин. Он уже просто пропитан никотином.
Pros:

Хорошее расположение отеля, рядом с метро и в целом все локации очень близко находятся. Большие номера.

Cons:

В номерах было очень прокурено, прям голова болела. Тем более, что я останавливался с детьми. Вообще не возможно было находиться в номере, открывали окна.

We will return
Pros:

Nice hotel close to where we needed to stay in Guangzhou. We arrived on the high-speed rail, from there a short walk to the metro for a ten-stop ride to the 2nd culture place station. cost seven dollars for two. At the metro station, we took exist D and when we reached the street above, the hotel was staring at us. We checked in, zoomed up to up floor. The room was huge with a deck, fridge and a lounge seat not to mention the king size bed, and looking out the window, overlooking the pearl river in the distance. To us we couldn't complain because it was where we wanted to stay.

Cons:

Found nothing to complain about. Not only close to everything, it has a convenient store on the ground floor, a couple of restaurants and leave the hotel, everything is waiting for you.

I love this place.
Pros:

This is a big old comfortable hotel in the grand hotel style. Incredibly convenient with the subway and hundreds of restaurants and mom and pop shops steps away. Great view of the city skyline. I stay here every time I go to Guangzhou. The staff is terrific. The rooms are large, quiet, and clean. Bathrooms seems to have been updated recently. Being American, I like that there's always an English-speaking staffer around and there's a McDonalds and a KFC across the street. And it's a bargain price compared to US prices.

Location is really useful
Pros:

The biggest pro of this hotel is the location. 2nd workers cultural palace. Right by an exit (check the exit boards)
Soon as you come out you can see it.

Check in was smooth. However need to leave 300 RMB deposit. Which is more than the room cost me

Room clean and comfortable. Wifi ok. Shower ok.

Some negatives. No water in the room have to buy it. Tv has lot of channels but no foreign ones. Bed was a bit small.

Didn't have breakfast so can't comment.

But the location is really useful to many GZ attractions

Convenient to metro
Pros:

Hotel is conveniently located near metro station. Room was okay though the bathroom tiles were showing signs of age and mold. Overall, an okay stay. Plenty of places to eat nearby the hotel. Will consider staying again if there is a good deal on price.

Easy Access to Wedding Dress Street
Pros:

First time to visit this hotel. Only reason I booked it was to visit the wedding street and to have easy access to it.

I can't say anything great about the room, we asked for non-smoking and the receptionist said all the rooms were non-smoking but when we got to the room, it smelled heavy on the carpet and the curtains of smoke.

The room itself was very tired and not clean. I was afraid to take my shoes off as the carpet looked filthy. The aircon was noisy and the bathroom was very dirty.

The only good thing about this place was the convenience of it being walking distance to all the wedding shops. Shame that I chose a popular weekend to travel on as the rooms were double the price.

Don't expect anything spectacular here...

Excellent service
Pros:

After reading some negative comments we were a bit skeptical about the property but planned to give it a try. Stayed during the guangzhou fair so the hotel was full.
They provide free shuttle to the and from the fair so its pretty convenient.
They hotel staff is exceptional very courteous and professional. I stayed in the executive rooms which were great.
Big comfortable beds clean sheet excellent five star.
Did not try the breakfast but u just walk out and everything is near by. The metro is right below the hotel.
The line 2 goes direct to the airport which is very very convenient.
You have 24hr attendants on every floor there for anything u need .
I would rate this hotel really good.

Great location for Wedding Street - No Frills
Pros:

Second visit to this hotel. Location, location for wedding suppliers. Dresses, accessories, mens suits. You name it for wedding clothing and accessories it it is close by. NO FRILLS Rooms are large and basic. A bit tired and sometimes not so clean. But price and location and if you only want to sleep there as i did make it bearable. Bed was comfy and hot water. Very few if any staff speak any English. 7/11 downstairs so great to buy water, drinks, western snacks, yoghurt etc. would stay again for location. Small local food vendors are happy to feed you if you point. Restaurants close by but no English menus usually. Very few people speak english around this hotel. Banks close by, take a ticket and wait for up to 2 hours to get served for money exchange. Quicker and easier to do a withdrawl from a cash card or credit card from a machine. No seats or wifi in lobby make it difficult waiting for transport and pick ups. Best to do booking via net than direct even the if you want to stay extra nights. Would stay again though because of location. Chinese new year a few days away when i stayed, great decorations in lobby and streets near by.

Standard room poor. Try to book the triple bed suite instead
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel twice in the last couple of weeks as we had used Guangzhou as a hub for our travels to Southeast Asia. We had used the airline China Southern and booked connecting flights to Thailand and Malaysia. We had booked our rooms using Agoda and opted to stay in the triple bed suite on our first leg in Guangzhou since there was 3 adults and two small children. On our second leg in Guangzhou, we opted for a standard room since there was only two adults and two small children.

The triple bed room was clean and the shower was good and clean. We actually had a good experience with the room and had written a good review on Agoda after we checked out of the hotel the first time around. We were able to leave a part of our luggage (with our winter gear) in the hotel since we would be returning to the same hotel 2 weeks later for our second leg stay. The hotel staff was helpful, especially Ceil, who had helped us book a taxi to the airport and arranged for a late check out for us (extended our check out till 1p instead of the standard 11a). There is a staff that I feel compelled to point out that should be terminated from the hotel. She appears to be the manager, short hair, slim, with the biggest frown on her face and wears a black suit. I think she is a manager as she dresses different from other staff behind the counter. She has the worst customer service skills and should not be in the service industry period. When we approached the check-in counter, she was in the middle of doing something, and was looking down. We didn't want to disrupt her so we waited politely. We waited for more than five and during the entire wait, she did not once look up to acknowledge us or to apologize for our wait. We finally spoke up after five minutes and she abruptly interrupted us and said curtly, you need to wait in Chinese. What kind of customer service is that?! Finally, another associate, a young man, waved to us and helped us check in.

On to our next review of the standard room, which we had stayed in on our second leg in Guangzhou. The standard room is horrendous. Had I known the condition of the room, I would have paid an extra $25 per night for the triple bed room again. The room was infested with moths. We must've killed more than 10 moths. Even after they exterminated the room, there was moths flying around (less but still there). We were super careful on our last day to fling out all our clothes so we won't bring any moths home with us. The bathroom had a moldy, seward-like smell. The kids found a live lizard in the bathroom eating bugs! Need I say more?! The wall near the AC vent in the room had black streaks around it, not sure if it was mold or dirt. It was a horrendous experience. We wanted to go to the front desk to see if we could pay extra to upgrade back to the triple bed room since we were staying for three nights but when we saw the short haired manager manning the front desk, we decided to not even bother. The standard room and that short haired manager left such a bad taste in our mouth that we are certain, Skyline Plaza won't get us back as customers. I doubt anyone in the hotel would care for this candid review as the place appears to be packed regardless of the condition or the service standard of the hotel.

Location wise it is good since it is right next to the subway station. There is a great steamed rice crepe place that is just up the road which we had breakfast in on many occasions. The Chinese pinyin of the restaurant is Yin Ji. Don't bother dining at the hotel restaurant. Dim sum is subpar. Walk 15 minutes up the boulevard and have dim sum at this chain call Dian Dou De instead. (They are listed on tripadvisor). The ambience, taste and variety is so much better at Dian Dou De than the hotel restaurant.

Be careful when you book on hotel website as no changes can be made after that without being tossed around!
Pros:

I have been using this hotel for years but on my recent trip, I booked using the hotel website. I later needed to change my travel date and push back my arrival date by a day and increase my overall length of stay by 2 days. I tried calling the hotel and I was told that my booking had been made through an agent even though I had done it directly on the hotel website! I called the so-called agent that I was referred to, and he told me to make changes directly with the hotel. This ping pong went on for days until I eventually gave up! When i arrived, despite showing them the email exchanges and explaining the background, i was still charged for the night that I did not spend in the hotel! But somehow, they understood perfectly the part about extending the trip by 2 days! It otherwise is a decent hotel in a very strategic location next to a metro.

For almost $90 a night would like to get more
Pros:

During Canton Fair spent 3 nights here.
Location is not bad in general, with live streets down and not far from most places.
Hotel is old and modest, breakfast is very modest(!)
WiFi only in the room, turns on only when you turn on the power in the room (takes time). No WiFi in the "lobby".
Room suffers the old Chinese way of saving power on lighting.
Reception does not change money (have banks nearby, but takes more time and limited working hours).
The concierge guy called Hugo speaks pretty good Chinese and is helpful.
Shuttle but to the Canton Fair was old fashion modest bus too.
Won't return.
