Marins Park Hotel Nizhny Novgorod

I stayed at the Marins Park Hotel in Nizhny Novgorod this past summer for a short vacation. My goal was to explore the city's rich history and see the main sights on my own. I booked a standard room with two separate beds, a shower, and a toilet, and my stay was truly memorable.

The hotel's location is perfect for sightseeing. It is right in the city center, within walking distance of the Kremlin and the Chkalov Staircase. I was able to get around on foot to most key attractions, which was very convenient.

I would highly recommend making an advance reservation for the breakfast buffet; it offers great value for money with a vast selection of dishes. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were consistently courteous and professional. When I asked for dining advice, they directed me to a few quaint cafes off the beaten track, which turned out to be fantastic.

In conclusion, the Marins Park Hotel is a fantastic base for a solo traveler exploring Nizhny Novgorod. I had a wonderful experience and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Самый ужасный отель. Я даже не знал, что такие ещё остались.

Очень старый отель. Номера давно требуют реконструкции. Фото на сайте не соответствуют действительности . В номере стоял запах канализации. Но вид из номера был, действительно, потрясающий .

Hi, your hotel is nice but you have 4 Stars and 500+rooms. It's riduculous that you don't have many english speaking receptionists. I understand it is hard but you must have at least one english speaking receptionist at all times. Ideally you must have them everywhere at the hotel. You have only one girl who can actually speak and rest is just using google translate.

1) The check-in process was terrible this time. Had to wait almost 20 minutes before checked in. Have no idea why, but eventhough my stay was prepaid they charged me one night (just in case) because they saw the payment by Expedia but havent seen the money on their account. When the money would arrive the charge for extra night would be reutrned to me. However upn the check-out nobody has even mentioned the extra charges until my reminder.
2) The bed was not really clean, neither were the cups. Aslo ther is no coffee or tea in the room and you cannot get some more water next day.
3) Breakfast is good
4) Liked that in deluxe rooms you get some pieces of clothes washed for free

В номере было холодно, вместо заявленной king size была совсем небольшая кровать. Вся сантехника старая, поломанная

В целом все хорошо. Вежливый персонал, отличные завтраки, но есть пару нюансов. Первый, отель очень старый и это заметно. Второй момент, как в стандартном номере 4х звёздного отеля не может быть фена в номере? Девушка на ресепшн сказала, что предоставят нам бесплатно как «комплимент» от отеля. Это меня очень сильно порадовало, тк был в этой сети отелей в Сочи и там все было гораздо лучше, да и в целом много путешествую по стране и точно могу сказать, что это не 4 звезды, а хорошие 3.

The hotel is as expected for this price level. Nothing special, but it was not expected either. What disappointed was the personnel, who suggested to pay also for the dinner. And I was told that the dinner is buffet style including all you can drink (soft drinks, beer, wine). So sounded like a good deal. What I got in the restaurant was a choice from a fixed menu, i.e. one salad one soup one hot dish one dessert and one glass of drink. Hardly a buffet choice and the food quality was low. So, do not pay for lunch or dinner there, go out, there are plenty places around. The owners should teach the employees not to lie, though.

Photos of the hotel mismatched. When I visit hotel, I disappointed. I didn't have enough water for taking shower. The room was not silent. All day when I stayed the room , I heard the air conditioners sound.

I stayed at the hotel for few night and I wanna say it was really bad for a 4-star hotel. The question is why?

Very nice stay overall. Great location, tasty breakfast, friendly staff. Not very comfortable bed though. Otherwise, I was pleased.

Even though me and my Russian wife both had our international passports with us, my wife was denied access to the hotel on the basis that she didn't have her domestic passport with her. Fair enough, our fault, should have researched the changes to the law.

The staff, however, were very unhelpful and had zero empathy with our situation. When we asked where we should stay instead, since noone would accept us, the staff at reception simply shrugged and told us it was not their problem if we had to sleep outside. Had to cancel our booking. Currently looking for a place to sleep.

Terrible, terrible service, and not a very nice welcome to Russia after many hours of travel.

Отель на 2* ,как они получили 4* очень большой вопрос. Из минусов : ванная комната максимум 4 квадратных метра, при этом дверь открывается во внутрь, нет фена ,халатов, тапочек,зубных щеток и Зубной пасты, пятна на ковролине, матрас видавший виды номер 1112.
Из плюсов: приветливый персонал и хороший завтрак. Не рекомендую данный отель ,попали в него на одну ночь случайно.

The hotel is located at a very convenient spot. It overlooks River Oka (beautiful views of both bridges, which link the upper & lower parts of the city), is within a 15min walk of the train station & is on the main road linking everything.
The bus stop is conveniently in front of the hotel (Lenina Square stop) and buses are available to go EVERYWHERE in the city & outside the city.
The staff are friendly & helpful...... the room was comfortable & warm.... and the bed was very comfy......
Good hotel.

Good hotel, located close to main NN railway station. several bars and restaurants on the first floor. But elevators are often busy - you have to consider your time accordingly.
Standard rooms are really small, which may be enough for couples, but not for colleagues!
If youк travel is a business trip, book one room for each traveller.
interior of the hotel and rooms is in modern style, many sokets, lamps, good bathroom facilities.
And the variety of meals for breakfast is also very impressive!
Right in fron ot main entrance to the hotel there is a big parking!
