Pros:

I quite enjoyed my stay, beds were comfy, basic but very clean. Breakfast had a good selection. Staff were very responsive to questions and requests. Located a short walk from Laugavegur shopping street.

This is a great hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Rooms were smallish and basic but very clean and from the upper floor where we stayed offered great views of the city and the waterfront. Front desk staff were all excellent, friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was great with a wide variety of food and drink that would satisfy almost anyone. Haust Bistro was okay as well. Food fairly standard but good and service was very good.

Cons:

It was a busy time when we were there and as a result prices on our second stay were almost twice what they had been on our previous stay a little over a week earlier. Also the room we were put in on our second stay was a handicap room without a tub which would have been nice to have.

Pros:

Comfy hotel. Loved the warm bathroom floors. Great location to walk around town without the hub of being inside raykjavic.

Cons:

Daily charge to store luggage when staying for 3 nights before and 2 nights after our tour and travelling with a company that uses the hotel regularly for their clients.

Excellent hotel, very comfortable in a great location.
Pros:

The room was very comfortable and spacious, I loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom and the bed was very comfy and squishy so we slept great. We stayed in reykjavik for our 10 year anniversary and the staff had put out a complimentary fruit/chocolate platter in the room for our arrival, which was a lovely surprise and made it feel extra special. We also had an excellent view of the harbour from our room! Also the hotel is right next to bus stop 12, where excursions can do pick up so this was very convenient as it was right on our doorstep. It was only a 15 minute walk into the city centre.

Cons:

There was nothing major that we didn't like it was all great. If anything, I would say that the room did get quite warm but you could open the windows; i know Iceland doesn't typically have air con, and it was unseasonably warm when we were there.

Cons:

Room was really hot at night. Open the window but then you had to shut the blind to block out the light, so a waste of time.

Overall, excellent and location was the main choice!
Pros:

Perfect location for tour pickups and easy walk to shops, site seems 👍. Great coffee making facility, fridge and multiple English speaking tv channels!

Cons:

No toilet brush, no shelf in shower for holding items and had to leave on floor, consequently everything getting wet!
