Perfect location for the tour I had planned. Less than a mile to Harpa concert hall. Easily walkable.
Pros:

Pros:

Sehr schöne Zimmer, nettes Personal, tolles Frühstück, gute Lage: Von dort aus kann man Reykjavik gut zu Fuß erkunden. Die Zimmer dachten bis 15. Etage kosten extra, aber auch von der sechsten Etage hat man Richtung Hafen und Konzerthalle einen tollen Ausblick.

Pros:

The property is right next to tour bus stop 12 which made it very convenient
The room was clean and comfortable, and the heated bathroom floor was so nice to have
We arrived early and was able to check in early for a small fee
Breakfast was included, excellent breakfast buffet!

Cons:

There was shampoo, conditioner and hand soap when we checked in, but no body wash and no lotion. We asked for and got the body wash promptly but the hotel does not offer any complimentary body loti9n

We really enjoyed our stay at Foss Hotel. The location was perfect for both the harbour area & city
Pros:

We had a room in the Tower Block, 11th floor & the view was amazing - harbour & city views. The bed was very comfortable & the shower was great. There was a fridge & a safe in the room and a coffee maker. The breakfast selection was extremely good - full cooked breakfast range, porridge, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, nuts & seeds, danish pastries, bread & toast with preserves, tea/coffee/juice. The location is perfect (Bus Stop 12 for pick-ups is right outside). Very easy 5 minute walk to the main street and 30 minute walk to the harbour area.

Pros:

Le petit déjeuner est très bien. Mais c’est l’usine.

Cons:

Pour un 4 étoiles, le pire de notre séjour en Islande. Pas de gel douche, pas de brosse à wc, frigo pas en marche, vue sur un mur, la moitié des prises ne fonctionnaient pas. Chambres froides, impersonnelles, matelas durs.

The room was supposed to be two twin beds but not a big deal but room was hot and didn’t know how to adjust heat found no instructions
