Very nice hotel and good staff

Great place to stay, staff were all very good, good breakfast both western and Chinese. Hotel offers free airport drop and pick up from morning to midnight. All local amenities opposite the hotel, very safe area. Would definitely come back and stay here.

Ms front deck manager Christine Zheng, and all hotel staff included front deck staff, housekeeping, driver, night manager and restaurant team are very friendly, helpful and patient.

One area of improvement for Expedia booking APP, information misleads and indicated the hotel located near Beijing Road Pedestrian Street (walking distance from hotel)….in actual fact it’s very far away @50 minutes from hotel….resulted need to traveling in and out via local taxi which cost @¥230 per trip (included ¥19 toll fee) or 2 ways ¥500 daily……Screenshot shared with Ms Christine Zheng.


Despite the wrong location from Expedia APP….hold it can correct it and A GREAT complement to Holiday inn hotel.

What a beautiful hotel! I booked it because I thought it would be close to the airport. The shuttle isn’t as frequent, so check first with your schedule. Other than that, it’s a luxurious hotel in the middle of nowhere.

Amazing service with great hotel conditions. Appreciate for the manager at the reception, Chris, who is the most helpful and experienced hotel manager. He helped us to contact hotel.com and Expedia to refund the incorrect hotel booking fees, and that saved us a log of effort especially we had just arrived with jet lag. Chris is the best, thanks for that!

Chris, the night shift hotel person is very professional and we'll thought, helped us to coordinate for refund, rebook a new date, and even arrange breakfast packed for morning airport shuttle bus. Would like to stay again when we are in guangzhou

A proper Holiday Inn as you would expect it to. The hotel itself is nice. It has a gym and a swimming pool (you have to buy a swimming cap in order to use).
The area itself - not much to do, it's very far from the actual city, and from the airport too. So, basically, plan on staying just in the hotel and perhaps eat in one of the restaurants nearby, but that's about it.
About 30-40 minutes from the airport. More from the city (we didn't go - too much logistics :(
The staff is very nice, expesially Christine - she's absolutely amazing! Speaks perfect English and of a HUGE help. Kudos!

The Holiday Inn Airport Guangzhou is a hotel built on a grander scale than any Holiday Inn in the USA. Marble, marble everywhere. The rooms are adequate sized, very quiet and have everything you need in a hotel room. The multiple restaurants all serve good meals. The service personnel all try very hard and most speak English. The only negative I observed is that the place needs a deep cleaning in and out. We enjoyed our stay there and will return if we are in the area again.

The room that we were given was spacious. The linens were very clean and smells clean, too. The staff were very helpful and polite.
The only thing that I did not like was that the staff cleared up our table during breakfast time when we are not yet even finished.

Almost perfect, the breakfast is good the lady doing omelette eggs is incredible nice and she have the perfect touch, food is good, it was very difficult to find a clean or available table, the restaurant needs more people cleaning and preparing the tables for next guest. Other than that this is a 5 star clean, comfortable and beautiful hotel.

Deeply disappointed. The shuttle didn’t run past certain hours so my parents had to take a taxi to the property past midnight. Then once they got to the room they realized that the room wasn’t even cleaned. It took them forever to have a different room. Just a terrible night, didn’t really rest
