Avoid this hotel — old, dirty and appalling handling of a personal data security incident
Cons:

There is honestly nothing I can recommend about this hotel. The property is old, tired and dirty, and the overall attitude towards guests feels careless and indifferent. But all of this became secondary after what happened with my personal data.

Shortly after my genuine reservation, unknown third parties obtained accurate information connected to my booking — including my name, phone number, hotel and exact stay dates. I received at least four targeted fraud attempts using these details. The hotel acknowledged in writing that it was investigating how my reservation data may have been compromised and promised to update me. Then they simply stopped responding.

For weeks I repeatedly asked for the results of their investigation. Nothing. No explanation of how criminals obtained my reservation information, no information about what data was affected, no meaningful action, no solution and no compensation. I was simply left alone to deal with a serious personal-data security issue while the hotel ignored my messages.

Formal complaints regarding the incident and its handling have now been submitted/escalated to Booking.com’s Data Protection Office and the Czech Data Protection Authority (ÚOOÚ). I have preserved the correspondence and evidence. After this experience, I have completely lost trust in this hotel.

There are plenty of hotels in Karlovy Vary — choose another one. I strongly recommend avoiding Dvorak Spa & Wellness.

Расположение - почти на выселках туристической зоны. Нет нормальной парковки.
СПА как таковое отсутствует - только маленький бассейн и сауна. Хамам не работает.
СПА программ по сути нет. 40 евро за 30 минутный массаж ног - это сюр.

Hotel is a wonderful location. The view and the amenities are amazing. Value was definitely worth what you got.
The AC was wonderful plenty of plugs to be able to function in the room without chasing plugs to get ready. Apple storage with shelving in the closet you can’t be the location.

Cons:

The room was somewhat dated. I’m not sure if it was in the middle of some maintenance but huge section of drywall had been worked on and the wallpaper was in need of work.

In favour of AI, which I found annoying and useless as you could not talk to a real person without giving all your live details and hope that someone reacts to your voice message, while you stand near the parking gate for 30 min. Many visitors were going back and forth to reception by foot to ask to open the parking gate as there is no chance to reach out to anyone by phone.. We spent 1.5 hours checking in and parking and 40 min to get out of parking, it was fast as one of us could go physically to reception. In other cases only gods know how much it would take.

Nice hotel, great view of the river if you book that kind of room.

Cons:

The swimming pool was not working and we found out at check in. The main reason we booked the hotel was the spa center and the pool. We could have stayed in a cheaper place without a pool. We paid non refundable booking and did not get what we paid for.

Superb location, lovely room with juliette style balcony and fantastic view. The swimming pool and sauna were gorgeous and included in the price. The robe and slippers were a great touch.

Pros:

A belvárosban, remek helyen lévő szállás. Van zárt parkolója, ezért külön fizetni kell, de hát ebben a városban ez nem megy másképp. A reggeli bőséges, nagy választékú volt. A szobánk tiszta, jól felszerelt, kényelmes volt. A wellnes részleg is elnyerte a tetszésünket, jól éreztük magunkat!
