Pros:

Less guest in this hotel.
Castle architecture design. Looks grand.

Cons:

The hotel is built in secluded land. Vehicles need to go down on slopes to reach lobby drop off point. Grab drivers told me that some drivers even reject the pick up request. No convenience store nearby.

Poor maintenance and disappointing experience

Cons:

I was quite disappointed with my stay. The room itself felt poorly maintained. The floor tiles were chipped and made creaking noises whenever I walked around, which immediately gave the room an aged and neglected feel.

The linens were another major issue. Towels, bedsheets, pillowcases, and even the comforter covers had a yellowish tint and did not appear properly cleaned. It didn’t feel fresh or hygienic. The toiletries provided were extremely basic, far below what you would expect from a hotel.

The bathroom had several problems. Water pressure in the shower was very low, making it difficult to shower comfortably. The sink drained slowly and water would puddle instead of flowing away. On top of that, the sound insulation was very poor. If someone in the adjacent room used their bathroom, you could clearly hear the pipes and water running, which was disruptive at night. The window glass was also not soundproof, so traffic noise from outside was easily heard, disturbing sleep.

The swimming pool was not well maintained either. The water had an unpleasant smell, which made it uninviting to use.

Breakfast was underwhelming. The spread was very limited and exactly the same on both days, with little variety or effort to offer something different.

One more inconvenience was the deposit policy. A cash-only room deposit is required at check-in. Upon checkout, staff will inspect the room first before returning the deposit, which adds unnecessary waiting time and feels inconvenient.

Overall, the experience did not meet basic expectations in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, and comfort. I would not consider staying here again unless significant improvements are made.
