Good location but that’s it
Pros:

Good location, close to the main train station and walking distance to the ximending district, lots of shops, restaurants and convenience stores close to the hotel. Room was big and had a Japanese style toilet.

Cons:

The WiFi was very weak, there were several networks you could connect to but none of them connected to the internet. Our main issue was the cleanliness, the walls need a deep clean and the tiles in the bathroom were very dirty. There was also dust.

Comfortable stay
Pros:

Good location, near the main station and plenty of food to eat. Love the huge washing machines and dryers :)

Good location near train station

Cons:

Stayed 2 nights. Upon booking they immediately deducted 1 night from your card as deposit . On checking in they ask you to pay the full 2 nights, and kept the 1 night deposit to be returned within 14 days . This is not fair business practice, compared to other hotels in Taipei who returns the deposit of only 1000 Twd immediately on checkout .

Great budget option for Taipei - affordable weekend rates.
Pros:

Very well located for the central railway station. Able to walk to many places of interest in the city. Quiet and clean. Able to leave luggage for no cost while going out of the city for an overnight stay in the north-east. Good cafes and small restaurants nearby.

Another great stay in Zhongzheng - you cannot go wrong.
Pros:

This was my first stay at Relax II of all the various Relax Hotels. It was wonderful just like the others and very convenient and comfortable. The shower water pressure is amazing, bidet toilet, quiet, laundry, nice staff - everything is good. 😌

Great location
Pros:

The location was excellent, a 5 minute walk to Taipei Main Station and across the road from a handy family mart. Rooms were clean and very comfortable.

Pros:

It was very close to Taipei Central Station, lots of shops and cafes nearby. Walkable to a lot of the main attractions too or 5 min to the MRT. The rooms were spacious, bed comfy, and had a shower and bath which was nice, however we were facing the back of the buildings that looked a little underwhelming. There is a cafe in the basement and a restaurant on the first floor. It's a decent hotel if you want to be near the station, walk most places and get value for money.

Cons:

It was a bit tired looking, especially in the carpets in the hallways, reception area, but nothing too bad.

OK for 1 or 2 nights
Pros:

Location was nice. Also good choise of TV programs. We appreciated complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby.

Cons:

We had to ask for a room change because of the strong humidity and mold on the wall in the first room. We knew it is issue in Taiwan, but that wasnt acceptable for us. Luckily, the second room was better, but we got a room with a view on ACs and when we opened a window we got a smell from the downstairs restaurants. Room was much smaller than we expected. It was impossible to open 2 suitcases at the same time.
