Pros:

Prachtig uitzicht over Lake Michigan vanuit de kamer. Het hotel ligt fantastisch en vanuit het hotel zijn de meeste sights goed te voet bereikbaar. Het ontbijt was goed. De hotellobby is gezellig en levendig. Ik zou dit hotel zeker aanraden.

Cons:

De schoonmaak van de kamer vindt elke ochtend rond 8-9 uur plaats. Rond die tijd gaan de dames van de schoonmaak op je deur kloppen om te vragen of ze al mogen beginnen in je kamer. Dat heb ik nergens anders zo "opdringerig" meegemaakt. Opgelost door een "note" aan de deurklink aan de buitenkant van de kamerdeur te hangen. Ontbijtfaciliteiten: onvoldoende ruimte in de ontbijtzaal om zonder reservering in de ochtend heen te kunnen gaan. Dat was wel jammer en was onvoldoende duidelijk gecommuniceerd. Parkeren is duur in Chicago, dus ook via het hotel.

Fantastyczny hotel
Pros:

Duży apartament, duża łazienka, bardzo miły i pomocny personel. Nieźle wyposażona siłownia.

Cons:

Nieczynny basen. Śniadania nie w formie bufetu tylko dania z karty co ogranicza wybór i powoduje kolejki oczekujących na stolik ale jak na standardy amerykańskich hoteli bardzo smaczne.

Nice hotel, but recent renovation is disappointing and makes hotel less convenient for business travelers
Pros:

I've come here a few years running for a conference and always enjoyed it. The hotel is clean, well-kept, in a great location, and has nice spacious rooms and really comfortable beds. Also, the restaurant has a nice setup and serves good food - I particularly like the lobster roll.

This year, however, they renovated the rooms, removing, among other things, the desk and swivel chair, and as a business traveler, I really missed having those. I didn't like the round bistro table they replaced the desk with and I didn't like the new lights, which weren't bright enough, or the new painting. Both clashed with the rest of the room. I much preferred the rooms as they looked last year - there's no need to make the lighting "more atmospheric." The renovation clearly included the carpet in the hallways, which was a nice deep pile, but the rooms weren't as nice as they were last year. Also, when I visited, the gym was serviceable, but the pool was closed for renovations.

Also, my travel was disrupted due to a winter storm, and when I went to the (fully manned) front desk to book a room for additional nights, I was told I had to book the room online first, and only then could the desk check me in. That seemed pretty silly, to me. Because of that, and because of the lack of a good setup for a business traveler, I actually opted to stay the extra days at another hotel, so that I wouldn't have to work from a round marble-topped bistro table with insufficient horizontal space.

A localização é excelente, o quarto era grande e confortável e a vista era muito bonita. Valeu muito a pena ficar lá.
