Pros:

We enjoy rambling around ruins & beaches & tavernas -then returning to a comfortable abode.
Hiona Holiday Hotel met this prefrence.
A clean, uncomplicated small hotel with friendly staff/owners.
Our room was one of the smaller ones but still large enough to relax in as well as the balcony. There are larger rooms and larger balcony options.
Well maintained pool area and breakfast room. Our plan did not include buffet breakfast but it was available to us for 5 euros each.
Greek, French & English spoken by staff.
Short walking distance to Paleikastro town center, so the hotel is accessible by rental car and/ or bus. Market, bakeries, local products & restaurants w/o serious tourist hype
2km to beach & one of many archaeological sites.
Nearby Kourmenos Beach a relaxed break and Itanos site & beach north of Vai is beautiful. Windsurfing camp 6km from hotel.

Nettes Hotel mit sehr persönlichem Service
Pros:

Das Hotel befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Ortskern. Restaurants und Geschäfte sind somit in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Hotelpersonal gibt sich große Mühe, den Aufenthalt für die Gäste so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Sehr erfrischend ist die Nutzung des Hotel eigenen Swimmingpools. Um an den Strand zu kommen, ist ein fahrbarer Untersatz empfehlenswert.

Ansprechendes Hotel im Osten Kretas
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Minuten zufuß vom Ortszentrum Palekastro entfernt. Das Haus und die Anlage sind ansprechend eingerichtet, der Service sehr freundlich. In der Nachsaisonzeit war es insgesamt recht ruhig und familiär.
Palekastro ist für Exkursionen im Osten Kretas sehr gut gelegen; Zakros, Vai und die Berge sind gut erreichbar, sei es mit dem Bus, zufuß oder mit dem Auto.

Pros:

L accueil à été super agréable, le personnel est tres gentil et parle tres bien le francais. La chambre etait très propre et confortable avec une terrasse et vue sur la piscine. Petit dejeuner tres bien aussi.Seul point négatif la très petite douche...
