Quirky and Unique
Pros:

Quirky hotel but very nice. It was away from any town so you either need to BYO food or eat in the hotel. The room was nice but it was all about the other things, the deer and monkeys you may see during your stay, the nightly entertainment plus hot springs. It made for a unique stay which we enjoyed. Breakfast too was very nice.

Overall, this was a very nice hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and the hot springs were exceptional. The dinner buffet was underwhelming, but the breakfast buffet was excellent. I was a little concerned about the formosan sika deer pen; it was a muddy mess and I felt badly for the two deer kept in it. Some grass or enrichment for those beautiful animals would be beneficial.

Great and very happy stay at this hotel!
Pros:

We stayed here two nights during our Taiwan trip. The scenery is stunning. Checking in was very friendly and attentive. The staff really took their time to explain everything. The hotel is quite big. The gym is a bit small. But it was ok for two nights. The room was very nice. Only the toilet was a bit small.
The hot spring is absolutely amazing. Especially the outdoor onsen is so beautiful and really a relaxing and pleasurable experience. Everything is very well taken care of. It’s really a very professional hotel, but with a very pleasant and personal touch.
Breakfast is a feast. So many options. We ate vegetarian, but still so much to try. The breakfast is also very well taken care of. It’s all going like clockwork. Again the staff is so nice.
Highly recommended!!! I would love to spend here again some nights in the future.

Pros:

Outdoor spa and pool were not yet available which was a pitty. Happy with the daily yoga and the hot bath in our room.
Just up the hill there is a nice traditional tea house.

It has one of the best hot spring in the area. The location is on a place where there isn’t any of restaurants outside of the property. However, if you visit this place you will want to enjoy all the amenities within the property. By the way, all the amenities can still be enjoyed for free after you check out of your room

悠閒舒適的住宿體驗

雖然已經是老飯店了但入住體驗還是很棒～
環境整潔、在山裡也很清幽，飯店內設施也不錯，後面有魚池跟梅花鹿可以觀賞，還有健身房及遊戲室可以消耗體力，晚餐的自助餐品相多小組都在水準之上，久久來台東在知本老爺住上一晚真的體會到台東的悠閒氛圍！

知本最著名的溫泉酒店，房間乾淨舒適，溫泉水棒棒的，整體環境和服務都不錯，唯獨是飲食方面真的有點一言難盡。如果是喜歡吃自助餐的朋友，其實他們自助餐真的不錯，但是如果續住兩三天，每天都是吃那些東西就真的有點膩。雖然說有鐵板燒和火鍋兩個選擇，但是已經多次回來這邊公幹然後過來休息的我們，試過兩次鐵板燒之後都決定不會再回去吃鐵板燒了。食物質素非常普通，又不能另外單點其他食物，只能以套餐來吃，然後鐵板燒師傅的態度是快點煮完快點收工，兩次都是吃得最難受的鐵板燒。反過來說火鍋吃得開開心心，食物質素以火鍋來說都不錯，但是選擇只有火鍋和自助餐的話想多住幾天都沒有可能。所以這個真的是美中不足。如果酒店能夠將飲食方面提高一下，提供更多不同選擇給願意付錢upgrade的人，相信會更加多人來。

Our recent stay was almost perfect. They provided shuttle service to the airport and two train stations (for a fee). The all-you-can-eat restaurant (breakfast and dinner) was outstanding. So was the hot springs on the second floor. Staff was very nice and helpful. The only problem was the fact that their AC system has no heat. Called the front desk and they ran out of heaters. The room was freezing at night.

環境很好，泡湯解壓的好地方，房間我們訂購4人房，有多一位小朋友有收加床費用，但沒給我們床，有點比較不合理，畢竟一晚13000千多，5個人擠2張雙人床，真的不是很好睡覺

從年輕泡到自己都變成老爺了
Pros:

台灣溫泉酒店CP值最高的酒店，溫泉品質應該也是數一數二，房間內就可以泡湯，唯獨餐點一直是我很嫌棄的地方，可是畢竟我去泡湯的就不挑剔了，陽台會有油煙味也是我這次覺得很糟的，其他都不錯給它85分，油煙扣10分餐點扣5分
