Great choice for a visit to Carlsbad Caverns.
Pros:

Love this hotel. It’s new or seemed like it. Really good breakfast. Wonderful, helpful staff. Great location close to caverns. Clean!

The lobby was nice and the location was good

Cons:

The room needed some TLC. The grout around the shower was black, mold, mildew, etc, and the shower floor was stained and looked dirty. The divider wall between the areas was beat up very badly, needed paint and deep cleaning. The mattress “pad” or “topper” didn’t fit the mattress fully as it should have. If your a stomach sleeper like me your hands feel the ridges of it about 4 to 6 inches from the top of the actual mattress. The TV was too small in my opinion and the location is terrible, split in the middle of the 2 areas. No matter where your sitting or laying you are turning your head sideways to watch it. The pool towels are the worst I have ever seen at a hotel. Thread bare, ragged and sized for a small child.

I would definitely stay here again
Pros:

We stayed in room 317 and the air conditioner was extremely loud and rattling. Other than this, the rooms were very comfortable, and the staff was welcoming and friendly.

Wunderbares Hotel mit sehr großem Zimmer, ideal zum Besuch der Carlsbad Caverns
Pros:

Sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel am Ortseingang von Carlsbad, etwas abseits vom Zentrum und den anderen Hotels gelegen. Obwohl es an der Hauptverkehrsader der Stadt liegt, ist es ruhig. Zu den Caverns fährt man etwa 45 Minuten (das Hotel liegt am anderen Ende des Ortes und Carlsbad ist in der Tat recht groß).
Das Zimmer war riesig mit einer gelungenen und sehr guten Raumaufteilung. Wirklich toll !! Das Personal war überall sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit Waffeln und abwechselnden warmen Eierspeisen, Würstchen und Bacon.
Sehr schöner und sauberer Pool und kostenfreier großer Parkplatz vor dem Hotel. Es gab den ganzen Tag kostenfrei Kaffee, Wasser und Popcorn in der Lobby. Top! Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

The bathroom needs a big upgrade, mainly the bath tub area. Kind of pricey when in need of few upgrades.
