Top location in central Amsterdam! The staff was very friendly and was always ready to help. They also carried our bag upstairs. The room was also cool, we stayed in the Art Suite and really liked the design. The whole layout of the room was convenient, with big living and bathroom. The breakfast was no buffet, but you get a selection of things brought to your table. Even though it consisted of heated supermarket bread rolls and croissants, we were satisfied and full.
Far too expensive! We payed around 500€ a night, which is in no way justified. The room was clean enough, but there was still a big stain on the mirror and toilet paper in the toilet for example. Also note that you have to bring earplugs. The rooms are located directly over a night club and it gets really loud at night, particularly on the lower floors (we were on the 3rd and it was loud). Also the stairs are not suitable to people with restricted mobility. They are typical dutch stairs, so they are very steep and narrow.

Really liked the hotel room and location, rooms were clean and the reception staff w're lovely, Nicky made us a delicious breakfast in the morning too, I would recommend it!
No lift so you have to carry your suitcases up the stairs but wasn't a big deal

Einfaches Frühstück für ein 4 Sterne Hotel.
Es hatte keinen Aschenbecher im Zimmer oder auf dem Balkon, entsprechend waren viele Zigarettenstummel auf dem Boden des Balkons.
Wasserremperatur in der Dusche war schwierig einstellbar, (alte Armaturen).
Zimmer war sehr kalt.
Kein Normaler TV im Zimmer statdessen ein Alter Beamer! Wenige Internationale TV kanäle!
Für eine 4 Sterne Suite schlecht ausgestattet, auch der zustand der Mõbel war nicht 4 Sterne würdig.

The shower on our room didnt work properly, was very hot or very cold no inbetween, also didnt drain properly and was spilling over onto the room floor
