Pros:

I have stayed in the Magnolia Hotel before and I found there's is lots to love to about this place,it's location and it's staff. There is a consistency about the Hotel and what I mean is that (a) the staff are friendly,professional,hardworking, and are always happy to help.(b) the location is excellent, literally 5 minutes from Quinta Shopping Centre although sadly and I have mentioned this before there is no footpath to Quinta Shopping Centre which is totally out of control of Magnolia Hotel and the local authorities should really try and rectify the situation but the good news is,you can get a taxi in minutes to any location and it's very affordable.
The Hotel is spotlessly clean. I am happy to give 4.75%. Stars.
It's a great spot.

Cons:

Well I never think it's good to be negative for the sake of it.

Second Visit, Still Excellent
Pros:

My second stay at The Magnolia and just as enjoyable as the first. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and an excellent location. A fantastic base for a golf holiday in Quinta do Lago.

Perfectly adequate good faculty and staff were particularly helpful and friendly
Pros:

Breakfast was perfectly adequate , fairly typical but no faults
Location very good but road access for walking is problematic as no footpaths on most of roadway

Cons:

Size of standard room is quite small so we had to pay for upgrade

Pros:

Great location, clean hotel and fabulous pool and good food. Breakfast was vast!

Cons:

Having to ask to get sauna and hot tub turned on as it wasn’t on for the opening times as advertised

Friendly staff and comfortable room, but didn’t blow us away.
Pros:

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. We were in Quinta da Largo for a wedding.

Cons:

The food was very basic and no Portuguese influence at all.
Very heavily used by groups of men on golf holidays.
Atmosphere could be so much better than it is.

Fab hotel and staff
Pros:

We stayed here as it was convenient location for a wedding we were attending. Whilst the hotel is a bit out of the way and you have to use a taxi (uber is very cheap) the hotel was fab. All the facilities were great but honestly the staff were an asset to the hotel, particularly the serving staff on the restaurant and bar they couldn’t do enough for you, taking the time to get to know you and make your stay more personal. We cannot thank them enough.

Lovely time but bedrooms need urgent upgrade

Cons:

Bedrooms are very dated and the bathroom desperately needs attention it felt grubby, rust on mirror, broken tile, sink looked cracked and stained. Only 1 bottle of water provided for one week’s stay.
