Our very first experience of Calabria began at this wonderful hotel. And what can we say? It was truly love at first sight!
We spent four fantastic days here, creating beautiful memories and leaving with an incredible desire to return!
A special thank you to the hotel for the amazing price offer we received through Booking.com. The value for money was absolutely outstanding!
The hotel has beautiful grounds, a fantastic beachfront location, a stunning sea with crystal-clear water, wonderfully clean and well-maintained beaches, comfortable sun loungers, and umbrellas. Everything you need for a perfect holiday!
We would especially like to highlight the friendly and attentive staff, excellent restaurant service, thorough daily housekeeping, and regular towel changes. Everything was truly of the highest standard!
Our only regret was that we couldn't extend our stay at the same attractive rate. We simply didn't want to leave!
A huge thank you to the entire Borgo Del Principe team for these unforgettable days! You made our first experience of Calabria truly special. We will definitely be back next season! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🩷🩷❤️

Cons:

Despite our wonderful overall experience, we would like to bring two points to the hotel's management's attention.
First ... breakfast. The breakfast selection was quite repetitive, with almost the same options every morning. A little more variety would make a big difference. Even simple additions such as oatmeal, fresh ricotta, mozzarella, or a few traditional Calabrian specialties would make breakfast much more enjoyable.
Second ... the attitude of one of the beach lifeguards. A young staff member repeatedly approached us and insisted that we leave the sun loungers in the front row, even though almost all the loungers around us were empty. For some reason, we had been assigned loungers in the very last row.
We politely explained that we would immediately move if the guests assigned to those loungers arrived. However, he continued to insist that we leave, despite the large number of available loungers.
We believe situations like this could be handled with much more friendliness, flexibility, and common sense, especially towards the end of the season when the beach is nearly empty. Unfortunately, this particular employee's attitude was in sharp contrast to the excellent hospitality shown by the rest of the hotel staff.
We hope the management will take these small issues into consideration, as everything else about our stay was truly wonderful!

Posto incantevole, ampie aree verdi estremamente curate, stanza spaziosa e pulita.
Tutto lo staff (dal titolare, al maitre Mario, ai camenrieri, i ragazzi dell'animazione, tutti coloro che si occupano costantemente del verde e dei servizi e ovviamente anche coloro che sono alla reception) sono sempre stati estremamente cordiali: sempre a disposizione (se necessario) ma mai invadenti.
Davvero una bellissima scoperta, non vediamo l'ora di tornare.

Il verde in tutto il villaggio è molto curato

La pulizia all’interno dell’appartamento non è stata il massimo. Assenza di panchine in tutta la struttura, soprattutto nella zona giochi per bambini qualche punto di appoggio dovrebbe esserci. Lettini a bordo piscina perennemente occupati dagli altri ospiti anche durante la loro assenza. La stessa piscina ha dimensioni medio piccole e nelle ore di punta diventa un carnaio dove non c’è spazio per fare due metri
