Blue Vision Diving Hotel

Hotel staff was lovely! The owner made sure we did all the trips we wanted to do and luckily we saw everything we wanted to see (Shark, Dugong, Dolphins). The staff also made sure everything ran smoothly. He gave us complementary snacks if we were sat by the pool as he wanted us to try how good the fruit is in Egypt. All round lovely hotel.

My partner and I stayed here for three days while looking for a place where we could arrange some diving, and we were so glad we chose this one. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice balcony and the breakfast was very good. Despite booking at short notice, we were able to arrange all the dives we had planned, which we really appreciated. The location is very good, with few bars and restaurants nearby for dinner. The diving itself was fantastic, and we even got to see two dugongs on our last dive, which was an unforgettable highlight! We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great diving and a convenient location.

A home away from home, especially for divers and solo travellers!

I had such a great stay here! The hotel has a really warm and welcoming atmosphere, and you feel at home from the moment you arrive.

One of my favourite things about this place is how naturally it brings people together. The pool and common areas are great spots to meet other divers, share experiences, have a chat and get to know people from all over the world. It creates a really friendly and relaxed atmosphere, which is especially nice if you’re travelling solo.

Mohamed Salama is also a big part of what makes this place special. He genuinely cares about making you feel welcome and helping you get to know the local area, whether it’s recommending good restaurants, transfers, taxis, places to shop or anything else you might need.

The pool, gym, comfortable rooms and location are definitely some of the highlights. The hotel is really well located for diving, with dive sites nearby, as well as supermarkets and restaurants within easy reach.

The hotel’s dive centre is also very good, with plenty of diving options to choose from each day, well-maintained equipment and friendly, helpful dive guides who really care about what they do.

The price is also very reasonable for the facilities and overall experience, making it great value for money.

I would definitely recommend staying here and diving with their dive centre. It’s a lovely place with a great atmosphere and the kind of people who make your stay even better.

And one last thing: if Mohamed recommends a restaurant, just go for it. You won’t regret it!

The hotel itself is exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable. I especially loved that all the rooms have their own little balcony — the perfect spot to relax, enjoy the sunshine, and unwind. For the quality, cleanliness, and comfort you get, the price is unbeatable. It’s hard to find such a lovely hotel at such a great price in Marsa Alam!

A very important tip for future travelers regarding taxis and transportation:

Please be careful when booking taxi services online, even through platforms like Booking.com. In my experience, I had a confirmed taxi booking, but the assigned provider turned out to be unreliable and did not show up. I was then told that they did not cover the area, despite the booking having already been confirmed.

Thankfully, Mohammed came to my rescue! He kindly helped me arrange a reliable driver who could take me all the way to El Gouna at night. He went out of his way to help me, and I’m genuinely grateful for his kindness and support.

My advice to anyone visiting Marsa Alam: contact the hotel directly to arrange your transportation instead of relying on online taxi bookings. Local arrangements can work differently here, so communicating directly with your hotel can save you a lot of stress and uncertainty.

We had a great stay at Blue Vision Diving Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive throughout our stay.

Having a dive center directly inside the hotel is very convenient, especially if you’re coming to Marsa Alam for diving. We also really liked the location because you are in the town itself, with restaurants, shops and everything you need nearby, instead of being isolated in a resort.

We felt very comfortable here, would definitely recommend it, and would happily come back.

We absolutely loved it here. The pool is very nice, the rooms are clean and there’s a very nice breakfast. Big plus that the diving school in the hotel is amazing. Another big plus is that the staff is so so nice.
Also there’s a nice gym in the hotel!

The hotel is beautiful and very peaceful, a short drive away from some of the best diving spots (the car rides were included in the dive package). The owner Mo together with the rest of the staff were very welcoming and took care to accommodate all needs. I did my PADI Advanced and it was an amazing experience, with Ayman who is an excellent teacher.
