AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
We arrived early hours Monday morning to be greeted through a side door and rushed through check in as they wanted to go home as reception usually closes at 12am.
We were given our key and told we was on the ground floor, if you struggle with stairs avoid there are no lifts in these apartments at all and having to carry your luggage can be a struggle.
Once getting into our room absolutely exhausted from travelling we came across a broken air con making an absolute racket, a broken balcony door which was falling off its hinges. I thought it couldn’t get any worse..
The sheets were covered in dirt and stains, and we had bed bugs which is appalling when contacting the hotels emergent WhatsApp we was told this would be dealt with in the morning! So we contacted love holidays to try and resolve this and move hotels but ‘we don’t fit the criteria’
It is currently mid day the following day on the phone to love holidays as the hotel moved us rooms which was just as bad.
The staff are rude and have no respect or manner.

Hotel is very run down and in bad shape, filthy and damaged rooms, clearly past it's usefull days and it shows that despite the family run ming i still tries to do something, that the passion isn't there.
My initial reaction didn't get any uplift during the week.
If you are planning to go with children here, please don't.
A/C is insufficient and really dirty, the outside machineunit is full of rust and dirt.
Rooms tempratures doesn't lower with the aircondition on the top floors due to the sun warming the roof.
Minimarket is very expensive and poor choices.
The owners are usually helpfull and polite as is the small staff, but unfortunetly we can't say the hotel is a good choice for other than low low budget travel if a dirty scuffy room is ok and noice from surroundings, a/c and other rooms doesn't bother you.
Surrounding area is also quite depressing.

The owners of this hotel and their family work really hard to make sure you have a comfortable stay. Our room was on ground floor, beautifully clean with immaculate bathroom. Plenty of hot water. Sheets were changed every other day.
Swimming pool is fabulous and there's a little supermarket which stays open til late. Lovely breakfast and snack bar.
Only downside is that the hotel is situated on a busy, main road. However, there is a mini bus service to and from the nicest part of Faliraki beach.

I was stayed at Sotirakis Hotel and my experience was excellent! From the first moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me warmly and were always available to help with any request I had. The hotel is immaculately maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms offering everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Just come back after staying 9 nights at Sotirakis. My friend's and my room were spotlessly clean with bedding and towels changed every other day. Both bathrooms were modern and shower was powerful with hot water every time.
Pool was beautiful...cool and fresh...again, spotlessly clean.
The hotel is situated on a main road but there is a free minibus ride to beach 3 times a day...in fact to the nicest stretch of Faliraki beach. Bustop to get to Rhodes town, Lindos etc is just outside hotel.
Breakfast has plenty of choice, including omelette, bacon and eggs.
The staff are incredibly hard working and were very helpful.

Hotel and location is what you make it , the staff are really friendly and helpful and as long as you’re approachable and realistic you’ll have a nice time. The road into falaraki is on a busy bypass but there is a path behind the hotel that leads to the beach if you use your initiative 😂. The free shuttle bus is a good service as you can get bus connections to old town and Lindos. Lovely holiday with funny memories 💗

Last year, we stayed in a studio in Faliraki, and everything was far superior to this hotel.

First of all, the location is not convenient at all, as it is situated on a busy national road with many cars, buses, and trucks speeding by. Aside from the noise, the fact that there is no sidewalk along the road makes walking to the beach or the town center quite unpleasant and even dangerous.
The hotel offers transportation with an old, poorly maintained van. It feels more like a vehicle for transporting goods or materials, but we understand it's a 2 star hotel... There are only three scheduled trips to Faliraki beach with that van: 10:30 AM, 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM.

Upon check-in, we received a paper with some information, such as the fact that breakfast costs €10 per person (we did not eat at the hotel), along with other details and price tags for extra pool towels and the seif(which was not in the room, but at the reception). However, there was no mention that the air conditioning would require an additional charge of €7 per day. The AC unit in the room was in terrible condition, covered in dust. The shower was even worse. The shower curtain was moldy, the drain was clogged, and water would pool on the bathroom floor. But the most annoying part was that the shower itself was broken. Water leaked from the showerhead, and there was no hook to hang the shower, meaning you could only shower by holding it in your hand, which was difficult given that it was defective. We reported the problem the next morning and asked to change rooms. They said they would repair it. However, they never came to the room to check the issues, nor did they fix anything during our entire stay or offerd another room as we asked.

Additionally, there were some very rude and noisy young guests staying at the hotel. Every late night, they would scream and cause disturbances, to the point where we sometimes felt unsafe. The owners took no action other than to post more and more signs in the hallways and even on the doors of these guests, requesting silence. It was extremely unpleasant.
One night, the situation escalated a bit too much with the screaming and door slamming. It was very distressing to have to deal with such incidents during our vacation.

The sheets had yellow spots on them, which didn’t give us a clean feeling. Our room was located in a corner, and I believe we got the worst room, as our friends' rooms were slightly better—they at least had a decent shower. One of the couples in our group even had free AC without having to pay the extra €7. Besides the fact that our room was on the first floor, we had no Wi-Fi signal, and there was no hairdryer in the room. So many of the facilities mentioned in the hotel description were either non-existent or not functioning, at least in our room.

One good thing I want to mention is that there is a supermarket on the grand floor and we often find it open after the closing hour. It was really helpful and had a lot of products.

Even though we understand this is a 2-star hotel, we wouldn’t have been so upset if the basic necessities had been provided. For instance, the fact that my boyfriend had to help me hold the showerhead so I could wash my long hair is unacceptable, even for a 2-star hotel. If the owners had shown any willingness to assist us with this issue in some way, we would have overlooked the other shortcomings, given that it is a relatively low-cost option.

I had read reviews saying that the family who owns the hotel is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we did not experience in in that way.. The staff were unfriendly, barely greeting us. The man who drove us to the beach was very reserved, did not communicate with the guests, and seemed kind of fed up with the customers.

We did not felt very welcome. We will definitely never return to this place and would not recommend it to anyone.

Horrible room:
- Shower curtain was disgustingly dirty
- Sheets and towels had yellow stains and burn marks
- Shower hose was leaking and the knob for switching between the faucet and shower head kept jumping back to faucet position. There was also no support for the shower head, so 1 hand showering
- AC has never been cleaned, dust was literally hanging out of the ventilation holes
- AC had no remote control, they actually took all of them and you have to pay an extra 7 EUR per day if you want to use the AC
- No insect nets so you have to buy the AC DLC
- Towels kept disappearing, starting at four, we were left with 2
- Room cleaning done every 3 days and my girlfriend's make-up case was dropped by them, presumably while the cleaners were checking out her stuff
- When reporting the shower issues and asking for another room, we were told that they will fix it but the room won't be changed (even though I know for a fact they had other rooms available)
No fixing was done at all.
- Staff seemed very uninterested to put it kindly, especially the owner (this is a family business apparently). Not even saluting back when we were saluting them, just a bored stare as you walk by.
All in all, a very poor experience, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Pay an extra 10$ - 20$ for a better hotel, which you'll probably get back because of the AC and bad positioning (far away from beach) anyways.

TLDR: To be avoided

We were impressed with Sotirakis from the moment we arrived after midnight and the reception and mini market were still open for us. We were assisted with our bags and brought to a bright and airy room with FREE aircon.
Unfortunately I injured myself on the holiday and the hotel were more than accommodating, advising about hospital care and checking in on me regularly.
Nothing was too much for the reception staff, always happy to give advice or call a taxi with most of the young staff speaking fluent English.
The room was spotless with the cleaners in daily. The cleaners were nice and friendly also.
The pool was clean and of a good size with loungers available. The hotel provided beach towels for €2 a time.
The mini market was well stocked with, food, drinks, toiletries and souvenirs and seemed to always be open.
The breakfast was superior to the one we received in a 3* hotel in Greece with a good variety and always fresh.
The only downside of Sotirakis has to be the location, on a main road, not really within walking distance of anything but fortunately the hotel provides a free shuttle bus service to the beach 3 times a day and the public bus stop is right outside the hotel.
I think Sotirakis deserves to be 3* and I will definitely return!

Loved it so much, really good and amazing price, the breakfast was really tasty, people can choose from a large variety of foods, amazing pool, Faliraki bar/food street is 15-20 min walking distance and the bus stop is almost in front of the hotel. Really friendly staff. Definitely would go back. They would deserve 3 stars, instead of 2. Booked on booking and AC was in the price, no extra fees. Do not know why there are these bad reviews here, they really do not deserve it.

Poor hotel. We had apartament but looks like tiny room. For air conditioning you have to pay 7 euro per night plus 1.50 euro some taxes. Bathroom definitely needs to be renovated, nasty yellow ish shower curtain, broken hair dryer, stinky cupboard.
Positives: The friendly stuff, the bus service to the beach three times a day, the clean and pleasant swimming pool, and the good breakfast.

I liked that there was a store where they had chips, soda, wine and so on. The staff was nice, breakfast was OK. The pool was nice. I did not like that the hotel was located right with the highway, u can take the bus but I would not recommend walking on that road. Therefore we took taxi everywhere.

Majoituksena oivallinen hintansa puolesta, mutta sängyt todella kovat.

Väldigt trevliga personal, ok frukost, ren och bra service, personalen var hjälpsamma. Enda dåliga var dörren, man behövde låsa den annars det gick inte stänga dörren.
Nöjd med min vistelse där.

Place was decent especially for the price you cant complain.
Pros of this place; always sunbeds available, always staff around to help somewhere, staff mostly happy to help, rooms decent aswell
Cons; we arrived late like 1am and were given keys to someone elses room they then got us a new room after an hour down on the ground floor so we unpacked, they then told us we had to move again(back to 4th floor with no lift and no offer to help move our stuff) this was extremely frustrating considering how late it was. I was served raw chicken and all i was offered was them to recook it so my boyfriend ended up having to ask for a refund (which they were happy to give), beds were pretty uncomfortable but the place was clean and spacious. Our air con needed fixed while we were there and so did our fridge. another main thing for me was the music around the pool, i get having music on but they had the same 10 songs on repeat the entire time we were there.
Basically its very much a you get what you pay for situation. some things can easily be improved other things not so much.

Se cercate un soggiorno pratico vi raccomando questa struttura,situata in una posizione strategica a pochi km da Rodi e dalla baia di Antony Queen , su una strada di collegamento. Questo è un hotel a conduzione familiare dove tutto è a portata di mano, si ha la possibilità di comprare qualsiasi cosa nel negozio fornito dalla struttura, inoltre si può noleggiare l'auto dall' hotel stesso, i proprietari sono disponibili e affidabili, in particolar modo Stergos è un ragazzo gentile, educato e molto simpatico.

Hotellet ligger midt i ingenting, meget tæt ved en motortrafikvej. Personalet er super søde men hvis man har børn er der ingenting. Hotellet er bedst hvis man har lejebil på ferien.

Broneerimisel tekkis probleem kuna ei antud korraga tuba 3-le nagu oli broneeritud. Samuti ei tahetud anda hommikusööki kuid see oli meil broneeringus sees.

Abbiamo prenotato 3 camere, 1 singola, 1 doppia e 1 matrimoniale. Arrivati presso l'hotel ci siamo dovuti accontentare di 3 doppie (vabbè!).
Il personale dell'hotel non parla benissimo l'italiano ma riesce diciamo a capire cosa vuoi, eccetto un signore anziano che lavora di notte con cui bisogna parlare a gesti perché non parla nemmeno inglese. Per il resto però c'è da dire che abbiamo cenato una volta lì e non si mangia male. La colazione è a buffet ma non c'è molto: ogni giorno un ciambellone diverso (alcuni molto buoni altri pessimi), c'è il latte, il succo (acidissimo però!), frutta di vario tipo, yogurt (buono), burro-marmellata-nutella per i toast.
Per quanto riguarda la struttura la posizione non è vicinissima al mare, la mattina il personale ti accompagna ad una spiaggia ma non è bella, consiglio a tutti un mezzo di trasporto (noi con una macchina abbiamo fatto 400 km e visto spiagge splendide oltre che posti mozzafiato). Le camere non erano male tutto sommato, abbastanza spaziose e provviste anche di una postazione per cucinare (c'è tutto, lavandino, posate, piatti e bicchieri, pentole), un piccolo balcone dove poter stendere costumi e asciugamani bagnati e ovviamente il letto con il condizionatore. Piccolo difetto il bagno: è molto piccolo e bisogna accettare che talvolta l'acqua calda sparisce (inspiegabile). Però ogni giorno l'abbiamo trovata pulitissima, con nuove lenzuola e federe.
Per quanto riguarda la piscina tutto ok, bella! Voto QUALITA'/PREZZO 6.5!
