Had an issue with the water one evening turning a different colour and the toilet seat broke. This was reported to maintenance.

the hotel was lovely and always stop here due to where it is located, the staff are excellent and very friendly always there too help
there was no heating in the room i went and saw the staff and they managed to get us a portable heater which helped but it was still cold on the night and early morning due to winter weather

Breakfast was under cooked (Bacon)
Being rushed out of our room on the final day despite being an hour early from advertised check out time, told it was a staff training day and the hotel was closing at 11am when two cleaners knocked on the room door at 0945 and asked us to leave, got down stairs and asked if breakfast was still on, only to be told they were unsure, I complained about being treated like I was being evicted, one staff member agreed to make us some breakfas,original time of breakfast finishing is 11am, so we had an hour to spare.
Finished breakfast around 1030am only to be harassed again and asked when I was leaving, my partner had gone to the ladies room and I was waiting for her return, told the member of staff this, only for her to then shout it across reception informing other members of staff my intentions, felt very unwanted and in the way, despite still having 15 minutes until closing.
I’m hoping the staff training day has taught them how to treat guests and a few manners.
The whole hotel could do with decorating, couldn’t open the windows in the hotel room as they were to stiff.
